BodyFit is free to download but ongoing use requires an active subscription, available on a monthly or yearly basis. All customers are eligible for a free 7-day trial to work out, begin weight training, or assess their overall fitness after the initial subscription.

Payment will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account on the eighth day from a selection of a subscription program. Subscription renews automatically unless it’s cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period. There’s no increase in price when renewing.

You can cancel auto-renew and manage your subscription at any time by adjusting your iTunes account settings. Once purchased, refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term.

Supper cool me ,

Great app could be better

Let me start out by saying the videos and workout plans are way worth the price. Prior to covid I would pay about $1,500 for 20 personal training sessions with a master trainer at 24hr fitness. The videos and trining programs on here out beat what I was doing with 24hrs fitness. However, since we now live in an app based lifestyle and you have to pay for the app, it would be greatly beneficial if the developers would integrate their workouts with other apps like “My Fitness Pal” by Under Amour to track my calories and protein intake since that app does great at keeping track of it. Also, there is no place to track what weights you used or the number of reps for each exercise. It would be great to be able to track if you’re getting stronger or know if you’re at the same weight and go on from there. Over all, it’s a very good app and it’s way worth the cost but much improvement is needed.

Needs Watch App & Health Integration

I’d give this a 5 for content, 4 for the app itself. The app is very stable and I never have an issue with it - kudos to the engineering & QA teams for their effort. There are a few features it should have to make it a 5:

Integration with Apple Health - why not just read my weight & body fat from my smart scale that records to Health?
Apple Watch app - be great to do a workout and have it record to the Workout app
Videos in landscape mode - I rotate my phone but still get the portrait mode, ugh
Customizable rest timer - some plans use talk about different rest periods between sets but it looks like there is just a global setting
Same exercise between two programs with different names & history - some of the programs prepend a prefix to the exercise name, most likely due to some programs have their own videos for the exercises, but the history should be applied to both
Offline functionality for airplane mode weekends - I like to take breaks from always being connected and I’m not able to do that
There are other apps that have the Apple Health integration & watch app, but they lack the content of the BodyFit app.

Rest Day/Workouts Not Being Tracked

This app is seamless and straightforward when it comes to making a plan and sticking to it. I am fortune enough to have a majority of the equipment necessary to perform nearly all exercises asked for in each plan, which is great. However..

This has happened multiple times over, particularly in Jim Stoppani’s 6-weeks to Shred and the Alpha Men workout, where my workouts simply wont be logged onto the calendar after I’ve fully completed the workout. I’ve tried restarting the app and re-logging all the weights and reps again, but it still won’t appear. I’ve also tried to visit the website itself and track it there, but to no avail. This app’s failure to log my workouts after consistent attempts is making it difficult to track my efforts, and can sabotage my progress in the future because I won’t be able to remember every single weight I’ve lifted as time goes on when I’m trying to do progressive overload. If there are workarounds or fixes done to this app, I’d be thrilled to give 5 stars, but this hassle of failure to record my progress is detrimental to me.
