Clean look and easy to use

I am impressed how easy this app is to use. It provides a way to look for a place to camp near where you want to visit. Much easier than having to search through lots of individual campgrounds. This is especially helpful these days when there are not many places available.

Once you locate an appropriate campground, you can select the desired type of camping and see on a map where the specific site is located. The photos also help.

I found it especially useful as I plan my vacation for next year. I could see many more places to consider.

Wonderful and easy to use

A wonderful app that’s easy to use, research campgrounds, and book sites. Unlike other camping apps, these guys will tell you if there are any available sites. I spent hours on Campendium trying figure out who had available sites around The Great Smoky Mountains. With Campspot, I found a campgrounds I liked and had it booked within an hour. There are also great pictures and detailed write ups of the resorts/campgrounds to really get a feel for the place. My only complaint is that I would have liked to have a map of the area to get an idea of the where the campgrounds are located in regards to towns around it, but I just started using the app so, I might not have found the maps yet.

Needs a camper/user profile

The app is quite easy to use but adding a user log-in and a Camper Profile feature for that Camper would REALLY help save time and reduce frustration by defaulting in commonly entered data.

Allow a user to enter AND SAVE to their login profile data such as:
1) Camper’s personal information (Name, address, email, phone number, optionally Credit Card info, etc.)
2) Equipment type (travel trailer, class A, class C, tent, etc)
3) Site preferences (full hook-ups, water front, pull thru, etc.)
4) Club affiliations (Good Sam, etc.) with member number and expiration date (for allowed discounts)
5) Existing and past reservation history
6) Favorites (Campgrounds and Site numbers) allowing the camper to skip the search process when they know exactly where they want to stay

This site’s potential is huge. A lot of campers would likely pay for an additional “Pro” version of your site with these (and with a little bit of time and effort put into it, many more) features that most skilled developers could put together in fairly short order. As a “rut” camper, I sure would!
