Best ❤️ Tracking App with note field and custom groups 🙌
Big Mac 1010
I really like the ability to but categories into custom groups. I track everything from life events to Tesla charging to Doctor appointments to choirs I do to dropping off dry cleaning. Even tracking my son’s medication. I can’t tell you how many times my wife is like when was the last time this happened and with this app I can easily refer back to ten last time an event happened. I also love the notes features it gives and all the different colors and icons you can choose from. Would love an Apple Watch ⌚️ complication. I can’t say enough good things about this app. I also like how you can easily swipe from right to left to add an event. The Ui is sold give it a try I bought the one time premium version because I don’t like subscription totally worth it. 🔥🔥🥇

Thank you so much for your kind review! Chronicling does include watch complications - please drop me an email at support@chroniclingapp.com and I'll help try and figure out why they are not showing up for you. Best wishes, Rebecca
Best app in its category.

I would never usually spend $40 on an app but this one is definitely worth it. I was using a program called “when oh when” for tracking life events and event logging but I found it a bit clunky. I would recommend this app. It is visually eye catching and allows for grouping of things along with allowing you to see when you last did something on your watch. The reason this is perfect for me is because I can use the iPad app on my MacBook and the watch and iPhone apps and they all update each other. This is something when oh when really lacked. Thank you for such a great app. Keep up the great work!

I have so much love for this app. It is exactly what I have been looking for pretty much my entire adult life, and it’s even more vital to me now as I attempt to heal the damage of burnout and dissociation, and learn how to accommodate chronic illnesses and late diagnosed neurodivergence that keep my day-to-day highly unpredictable. Most other productivity apps or sites I’ve tried, and I’ve tried dozens, require too much setup, have distracting or overstimulating designs or features, or just serve as another source of shame which leads to avoidance. I am discouraged by reminders that I am behind or late or just not being productive enough. I also struggle to determine priority or frequency of tasks, and if a task gets hidden until the due date? Absolutely setting myself up for failure. Some habit trackers I’ve tried are satisfactory, but I often fail to maintain them for one reason or another.Every time I try a new app, I say “I wish it would just let me track how often I do something and give me the data, not tell me when to do it and make me feel bad when I fail!”And then I found Chronicling! Easy to setup, no unnecessary frills, simple but pleasing design, very reasonable cost for premium, a genuinely convenient watch app!!! The data/graphs have helped me recognize patterns and get an idea of what my instinctual productivity is like, notice what I tend to avoid or gravitate towards, identify periods of high or low activity and correlate them with my health or mental state or whatever else, see where I might be wasting energy on lower priority tasks and burning out before more important things, and also just remember when I last did something!I’m still populating it with all that I want to track, slowly integrating things to avoid overwhelm, and getting better at consistently logging, but I don’t dread doing it, and that means I am far more likely to remember. It’s such a new app, too, and I am so excited to see how it grows. I don’t know if the dev created this with any of the things I’ve mentioned in mind, but I thank them profusely either way.
Cool app

I like the app, I am using it in combination with a physical calendar to keep track of things. There’s something beautiful about physically adding a thing to the calendar but it doesn’t automatically keep a count or history, so that’s where this app comes in handy. I found and reported a bug to the developer, it was fixed and shipped on the same day 🚀. I downloaded the latest version and verified that the update fixes the issue. Love it ❤️
- Archive categories: Hide categories you no longer track without losing their history. Archived categories are tucked away from your main lists and charts, but can be restored any time from Settings.
- Pin categories: Keep your most-used categories at the top of the Categories tab, and filter to pinned only in the Events tab. Pin by swiping a category or via the edit menu.
