Chubb Mobile 4+

Although I’m signed up for automatic payments on a quarterly basis, I occasionally wish to make an extra payment or pay off the premium for the year early, especially considering the newly imposed surcharge for using a credit card. If it is possible to make such a payment, it is not obvious how to accomplish it on the mobile app.

I have struggled with the CHUBB app for years. I keep hoping each update will make it better, but so far I have been disappointed. I have tried to log in a few times over the last week and I just get the spinning circle of “retrieving your information.” Even when I do get in the app is confusing. Why is there both a policy and a separate account number? When you swipe from one to the next you have to be careful that the 2 numbers are for the policy you want to look at. When you back out of it, it goes back to the first page so if you are trying to go through a few different policies one by one you have to be careful where you are. I have contacted Chubb a number of times about the difficulty of use and glitches in the app, but nothing ever changes.

This app is glitchy, often requiring multiple buggy attempts to log in. When and if I get access the interface is confusing g and sometimes ineffective. Altogether a waste of development dollars, they would have done better with a more customer friendly web-enabled website.
