The CVA Coffee Value Assessment App is a digital tool built to perform quantitative coffee assessments using the official Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) system developed by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
It overcomes the limitations of traditional handwritten cupping forms and enables accurate, consistent, and data-driven evaluations that can be saved, shared, and analyzed anytime.
CVA app was created as a joint venture between BP&Solution and ENTARO.
Core Features
1. Creation Mode: Enables creation of customizable evaluation templates. Supports morphological evaluation, emotional evaluation, and combined evaluation templates, with configurable settings for country, variety, and processing method.
2. Assessment Mode: Allows inputting evaluations by category (aroma, aftertaste, acidity, sweetness, mouthfeel, overall impression) with automatic saving.
3. Analysis Mode: Performs statistical analysis and visualization of inputted data to identify quality trends.
4. Administrator Mode: Controls overall system operations: evaluator management, progress monitoring, and data integrity maintenance.
5. Conversion Mode: Converts app-generated templates into SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) CVA PDF forms.
