Control your Defender Guard camera with this app to unlock a world of possibilities. Set motion detection schedules, instant alerts and notifications, record and retrieve footage, share and save memorable and not-so-memorable moments, and customize a whole array of other features to your liking. Stay connected anywhere, anytime with advanced encrypted communication protocols. You can even stream, hear, and save live footage over a cellular data connection.
Cloud Storage – No more fees, subscription services, or monthly liabilities. Use your Defender Guard camera with an optional 128 GB SD card (not included) and you’ll get days of recording (depending on your settings).
Motion Detection – Detect everything, anytime. With advanced Night Vision sensors, your Defender Guard can send you motion alerts the day or night, during set times, or only when you access the app.
Activity Regions - Set a detection region and say goodbye to false alarms. Keep an eye out on only the areas that matter!
Recording Timeline – With an easy-to-use visual timeline, scroll through past recordings with an intuitive time/date slider. It’s simplicity, but visualized!
Defender Guard and this app work best on a high-speed broadband network with a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection. A 5 GHz connection is not supported.

Great Security Cameras
I have been using two of the Guard 2k cameras for a few months in remote locations. Picture quality is excellent as is the field of vision. Control features are sufficient and the App is intuitive. I like the local video storage with no “cloud” or paid external storage required. My internet speed is a bit slow in my remote location but the cameras still operate well with upload speed at half spec at times. I have found tech support to be great the one time I spoke with a person. Note that 115 Vac power is required. “Wireless” applies to the internet connection. One minor improvement would be an articulated mount that covers side to side motion along with the up and down movement of the present mount design. Overall, these cameras are an excellent value so far in my opinion.

Cameras that actually work
I have tried several cameras, these are great. The wireless feed went to my router perfectly. My router is a Comcast gateway. I did not have to configure anything to use the 2.4 ghz connection. You need an ac outlet to plug in the cameras power. The video is good, and that’s the wireless part. Ignore the reviews that say “not wireless “.
My only complaint is that the Touch ID login will not work. My iPad has that feature but when I try to activate it on the menu it tells me a fingerprint is not set, very frustrating.

Splendid Security Camera
I am well pleased with this amazing camera and the app. It picks up all motions and sends notifications immediately. I can set what time I get those notifications and toggle the on/off notifications very easily. Once I got to know the app, it has become very easy to operate the security camera. The camera is top notch, it’s night vision is one of the best in the biz. Home Run!
