EasyCode 2.0 is a mobile app for Self-Storage facilities to provide mobile gate access and security monitoring features for renters.
The new and improved EasyCode takes away the hassle of remembering passwords by enabling a simple touch interface to open gates and doors at the storage facility. Plus, users can view their access history, get notifications when their unit alarm is triggered, and view access activity at their unit. Enjoy the convenience with EasyCode 2.0.
Note: To be able to enroll in EasyCode, your device must be able to accept incoming text messages from "Shortcode" numbers. Some providers, most notably prepaid services, do not allow messages from these numbers. Please check with your provider if you have any questions on your device's capabilities.
Fixes for app crashing when user selects the "Keypad Code" icon and enters their password.

I have used easycode in the past and had no problems with it. Started using it again recently (apparently now 2.0) and have found it creates a permanent blue banner at the top of my iPhone home screen which I don’t like. Clicking (touching) the blue banner takes me directly to the app with no searching for the icon - which could be handy for some people but is not a priority for me. The blue banner will not go away - even if I log off the app - until I power off my phone. The app also apparently tracks my phone constantly even when I selected “Allow only when in use” - apparently even after I have logged out of the app. Also seems to eat up battery life like crazy even when I’m not using the app - this is probably a result of the constant tracking. My battery only lasts about a third as long as normal when the easycode app is running. The only way I can fully shut down the app and the tracking is to power the phone off/on. Very disconcerting!
Excellent App - Much improved
I have been a user of this app for about 2 years now. The first version was a bit funky and was not really reliable. Especially on older phones. It seemed to hang up randomly and frustrated my clients.
The new app, EasyCode 2.0 has solved all the problems with the first version.
The sign up process is simple though lengthy. My older clients who are less the technical had no problem setting it up without my having to walk them through the set up on the phone. Support was a key issue, since I simple don’t have the patience to help them fumble through setting up software. So far, everyone has had an easy time setting it up without my help.
As far as functionality goes, it simply works, and works well. It does not hang up as with the first version, and the tech support has been outstanding. My more than picky clients are very happy with it.
The added function of availability of the history of access coupled with notifications of when the door is opened has been well received and appreciated by my clients.
This app has made out facility a continuing leading in security and access technology.
Keep up the great work.
Great app except
Works fine on my iPhone. The keypad on the Apple Watch doesn’t work for me. Not in the previous release or the last one. I log in and it comes up with the keypads on the watch but. I thing works when pushing the button. Otherwise it’s great.
Developer Response ,
Several things have been fixed since you reported this bug in the watch app. Please try upgrading to the latest version (2.4.20) and let us know if the buttons are still unresponsive.
