Finally managed to hook up to WiFi
I was ready to admit defeat with the app as I followed the instructions from the manual but it didn’t work.
I found a video online where you had to be in front of the unit to press the display button 6 times. Here is the most important thing, press the mode button after pressing display 6 times. Once I did that it set up straight away.
I think my wife will love this app as our air conditioner is up high and my wife can’t reach the buttons. Thankfully we have a remote but having the app on our phones or iPads will be so much better.
Horrible
I purchased the dual hose portable ac and could never connect it to wifi. I went through all troubleshooting resetting trying old iPhone 5 and the ac doesn’t blink and it doesn’t show in wifi at all. I had this ac blink slow spontaneously twice throughout the past couple of months but it still didn’t show in the wifi . I have dual router and my ac is next to it (5ft away) . I think the ac wifi module is broken as I can’t get it to blink fast as described in manuals and it wouldn’t show in wifi. I tried iphone 5 iphone 11 pro ipad pro and iphone 12 and none is working.
I emailed them months ago throughwebsite and never received response (covid issues) and the app doesn’t let me message till I choose the device— which I can’t do because I have trouble connecting my device to wifi— how crazy the customer support is. My warranty expires in about 2 months
Fantastic. Does exactly what it says
I can’t say it’s the most intuitive set up, but the app does exactly what it describes. I love being able to turn on my air conditioner 30 minutes before I come home so the apartment is nice and cool. you can literally do everything in the app that you can do on the actual unit, timer included.
