You can disable access for these permissions in Settings. Updates to this app may automatically add additional capabilities. This app does not support rooted devices.

Support When COVID hurts the finances
GM financial has helped me times ten! I thought my truck was going to be repoed but calling and keeping in contact with them and letting them know what is going on in my specific situation, they helped me through this entire year even! It has been a complete relief using them for my truck financing. With everything else going on in my life, Maggy, (she’s a representative for GM financial), she was just so helpful and informative. I was able to fix this issue and EVEN be ahead a few payments as well. I’m so thankful for her as well as every GM financial representative that has spoke to me with kindness and understanding when I’m in a stressed out state of mind. I highly recommend them when choosing a finance company. Giving them as many stars possible!

This app is horrible. I can no longer use the “Contact us” messaging feature to apply my extra payments to principal, because I used this excellent feature once and apparently you have to “resolve” the conversation. It never prompted me to “resolve the conversation”. And because I didn’t, it now won’t let me resolve my last conversation at all. So therefore I try to send a message, and it says “error sending message”, I try to resolve the conversation by pressing the button, and it does literally nothing. And NOW the app crashes completely every time I try to log in!
So I can no longer use it to send payments at all, and even if I can eventually log in (which I’ve tried to 8 times in a row now), I can’t send extra payments to principal, and it wastes the payments on interest and my loan balance remains the same. I hate this so bad! I called customer service to try to fix the “contact us” messaging feature and all they could tell me is “We can delete your account and you can make a new one”. I strongly refused that because I don’t want to have a chance of making 5 months of credit history disappear! As soon as my credit gets a little better I am refinancing my loan with some company that isn’t complete garbage!
Fix your “update”
Ever heard the term “don’t fix if it isn’t broken?”
I updated the app just to deal with more issues it created. The icon in the app continuously pops up requesting me to update AFTER I already did. After unsuccessful attempts to resolve on my end I chose to bypass selecting “update later.” I did the typical troubleshooting by resetting password, deleting the app, turning off the phone, reinstalling, and attempting again to no avail. Reached out to customer service via text (btw, the virtual assistant, Nanci, is useless) and was told “aLoT oF cUsToMeRs HaD nO pRoBlEm AfTeR uPdAtE.” Oh okay, Stephanie. I guess this is all in my head, right? Don’t suggest using the browser instead of the app because you don’t want to do your job. I clearly stated at the beginning what the problem was and that I already attempted troubleshooting. Listen to people next time instead of forcing me to do the same things I already told you I did. Then having the audacity to tell me “jUsT uSe ThE bRoWsEr.” THAT LITERALLY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF DOWNLOADING AN APP.
I suppose I’ll update my review IF someone more competent decides to listen and fix the problem.
