Best app for booking Broadway tickets

Easy to search for tickets and even easier to book them. Usually when I want discounted tickets, I pay for it in time. Whether that means standing in a relentlessly long line, or staying on-hold forever to reach a customer service rep - it can be painful. Headout, on the other hand, is absolutely painless! You don’t even have to wait in line at Will Call; a Headout employee shows up and hand-delivers your tickets. I can’t believe I just now discovered these guys! Will only buy tickets on this app from now on. Really well-thought out process.

Horrible Experience with this App - be warned!

Now that I’ve been burned by Headout, I am finding all sorts of similarly terrible stories posted by online reviewers. I have no idea how they manage to hide these reviews on google and maintain a decent rating. I used their app to book a tour in Barcelona a few days ago and it was a complete disaster. I paid and showed up for a tour that didn’t exist. (There were others who had also used Headout and showed up for the same “canceled” tour.) Their customer service had no idea how to handle the situation and could offer nothing but a “we messed up” email and a promise of a refund. When I explained that when you ruin somebody’s vacation, you actually need to step up and offer them a free tour - they refused. After much back and forth they finally offered a free tour of a different attraction that was a fraction of the I price. We said “no thanks.” Simply disgraceful. The next day I booked the same tour through a different company and it was $60 cheaper so I think Headout also overcharges from what I’ve been reading in other reviews. Please don’t trust this company! I wish I had been able to find any accurate reviews when they popped up through my search on google maps.

We sell tickets to over 5000 customers every day and the reviews you see are nothing but a biased collection that we are constantly trying to improve. If we had any availability, we would have definitely offered you another tour but we however will pass on your feedback to the customer experience team. We truly apologise for the inconvenience caused and hope you give us another chance.

HORRIBLE

I had a trip booked to Paris, France in March 2020. Booked all of my activities through Headout, however we had to cancel due to the Covid-19 crisis. I asked for a refund THREE WEEKS AGO, have yet to see it. I’ve emailed Headout MULTIPLE times and every time I get a response such as “oh we are working it” or “we have a lot of volume” which I do understand that it is difficult to contact vendors now, BUT I SHOULD NOT BE ON THE LINE FOR THAT. Headout will scam and cheat you for all you are worth- I spent over $1200 on my activities and they are hoarding it due to their business suffering. I would have never guessed when I booked this trip it would be in the midst of a pandemic and Headout is using that to their advantage. I plan on going to Paris (which has been a dream of mine for 30 years now) next year and you can be sure I will NOT being using Headout for those activities. Viator is much more reliable and they allow you to cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the activity takes place. They do not HOARD you money because THEY are suffering. Please save yourself the pain and suffering and DO NOT SPEND YOU MONEY ON THE SCAMMING, MONEY HUNGRY CORPORATE SHARKS.

Hi Jason, we sincerely apologise for the delay caused here.

We can see that you have already selected for a full refund option. It would ideally take 2-7 business working days for you to receive the credited amount. However, since we have been facing a high volume of requests, it might get extended 10-12 days, from the time you select the refund option. I know this is not ideal, but we are doing the best we can to get it fixed right now.

Nonetheless, we have escalated this issue to our finance department and they will be prioritising this right away.

We request you to please bear with us until then and we promise to get this resolved at the earliest.
