Where is the store? ,

Wow

I wasn’t expecting much getting into this game tbh but it’s lots of fun. Only issue I’ve run into is I can’t seem to get the undo button for when I make a mistake placing troops (it disappeared after I got the upgrade which allows for 8 heroes in battle). I really appreciate how active the developer is and his responses to positive and negative reviews alike. There’s a single purchase to unlock the rest of the game after some time and it’s totally worth it, by then you’ll know for sure whether you want the game or not. It has no ads either, which really surprised me. I’ll be telling my friends about this game :)

This is just me giving the dev an idea now, I’ve seen some people wanting extra ways to get resources (aside from replaying battles). The difficulty of this game is what makes it fun so passive generation of resources just seems eh, maybe a system in which you send out heroes for a certain amount of time, and they come back with resources? That way you have to manage your heroes a bit more, and have an incentive to recruit more :). This system could open itself up for more depth (higher level heroes bring more resources back, maybe even adding a gear system for heroes in the future, and they find gear on these missions).

Hi there! Thanks a lot for your review and kind words. It really motivates me to continue my efforts on Herodom!

I will check the issue with the dissapearing undo button. When you have more slots than can fit the screen, you can actually swipe the slots "holder" to reach the other slots that are not on the screen. Maybe the undo button is there, but you can't see it? Anyways, that also implies some usability issues. I am actually looking to overhaul this part of the GUI, so I think soon you will see an (hopefully) improved experience there.

You state that you "wasn’t expecting much getting into this game tbh but it’s lots of fun". I am wondering, can you explain why you had this expectation? Is it maybe because the store assets (like video/ image) are not professional, or the store description? I am very curious to know (and improve ofc)!

I like your idea! I think it will be a very good addition gameplay wise. Maybe I can even think of small "quests" where you need to guide the heroes through a specific level, where you are not on the defensive site, but the offense. I have to admit that those changes will take quite some work, so I can't promise anything soon. But thanks a lot for thinking along!

Well, thanks again for your feedback. I hope you will continue to enjoy Herodom! The developer

Wow

What else can I say? Wow. Finally finished the final boss and the battle was not what I was anticipating. Per the last few battles I had to drastically switch up my playstyle and play to unit strengths and weaknesses more than I have in any other game. The gameplay itself was phenomenal and one of a kind and possessed an actual challenge even for me. A few things I found though, when I completed the second to last story mission, the UI decided to big out and the kingdom was drenched in a white textureless background. I would then have to refresh the app to get it fixed. This also happened when I spammed changes in wardrobe and the unit appearance would be replaced with white background and a red X. Occasional crashes during battle also occurred (on xr). Suggestion I would also like to make is adding another siege weapon in addition to the catapult and ballista. This could add 2 more upgrades to the university seeing as I was able to max out my kingdom fairly quickly by the second island.

Hi there! Thanks a lot for your kind words, it means a lot to me! And sorry for my late reply..
Thanks for the bugs reported. They seem to be related to some memory issues, I will try to fix them asap. It is very helpful that you post them so thanks a lot for that :)

I love the suggestion of another siege weapon! But... Do you also have something in mind maybe? Let me know, I am very curious!

Thanks again and all the best, the developer

Great game buuuut

Hey this is a wonderful game the only reason no 5 star is because I feel like if you don’t make the right upgrades you will have to delete your current save and start all over I just wish it would suggest a upgrade also if there was a way your village could make resources while you are away so you don’t have to win a battle to get resources just a suggestion but maybe you could open a gold mine and the farm could produce food and maybe a saw mill for wood. level 10 I could hold until the last two waves and then I just get steam rolled I just wish there was a way to be able to do upgrades without having to win a battle and since the update my hero’s just charge into battle even if I tell them to hold... over all one of the best games I’ve played in awhile on iOS and definitely would suggest to play👍🏻👍🏻

Hi there! Thanks a lot for your review and feedback! I am very happy that you enjoy Herodom:)
I really like the idea of being able to generate resources in the village. I am thinking that through, and hope to deliver something cool and entertaining for doing so. Do you maybe have any suggestion on how to make that interesting?
For now, I will add in the coming upgrade that you can replay already finished levels, and get some resources for doing so. That way, you can always upgrade!
BTW, for level 10, there is a person on YT that is posting walkthroughs for the different levels. If you like, you can give it a look to see how it could help you!
Thanks again for your kind words. The developer

Ow and by the way, thanks for reporting the bug on the heroes not listening to your commands.. I will fix it in the next update!
