It’s a nice app in that you can design in a 2D, then see it in 3D (after you’ve paid the $4.99 to buy it), you also need to buy it to save a design.I initially made my review so I could get some of the items you get for reviewing, which was too soon for a fair review. I thought there were very few design options but it wasn’t till I played with it in 3D mode that “Textures” come up as an option, and this opens up another world!I’ve now made a plan and found it really useful and I really like this app, some suggestions I’d add if possible would be to do a tutorial video at the beginning, this will help a lot of customers understand the full potential of the app (I did read through the help pages, but it doesn’t showcase the app well enough).The reason I didn’t give it 5stars is because there are a few things that could be improved on including: being able to type in measurements rather than always dragging, grouping items, making it clearer how to do multiple levels (again a video would help), giving the area cover of the land, not just rooms, don’t group the land border with the walls so when u delete a wall on the land it doesn’t delete the land line too... I’m sure there are more suggestions but these are on the top of my head.Overall thank you for putting the effort into designing and making this app, it’s great!

I really wanted to like this, but I don’t. I already paid for it so I’m going to use it, hoping that it will get better. I'll revisit my review if things change.I find lots of limitations for accuracy, difficulties with texturizing, items randomly moving or deleting themselves, and an inability to lock an item or layer. Wait... There are no layers! I created a site plan, imported a survey, I liked that option; but it was an acre sized lot and wouldn't fit within the display window. The scale would only go up to 20'. The import was constantly moving, because I couldn't lock it down. I tried putting fences (no chain link, or vinyl privacy fences were available)and they would jump or rotate. I tried adding land and put a texture on it but was unable to; but the samples showed land with decking. And the help section couldn't help me. I added a room, and 2 sheds. I looked at the 3D view and was happy, then returned to 2D and my sheds were gone! I could only see them in 3D. I couldn't delete them in 3D and using the undo button didnt do anything, so I had to scrap it and start again.

So far have enjoyed putting together some thoughts and plans on this app. Could use more foliage options, and would like to be able to create hillsides. The compass has potential, and the night into day with shadows is awesome! The sun appears to be set in an Alaskan/Canadian setting so would be cool to put in a time zone so the sun reflects more accurately! It was worth it to pay the $4.99 to unlock features, and love that you can download images to add! Wouldn’t be great for a professional, but for the average person just trying to get some ideas, it’s fun and gets you close enough!

It has a bit of a learning curve but it was worth the five bucks to be able to make a simple backyard layout to plan a future move. While the textures are especially abundant and detailed, the objects themselves are limited and basic. Certain items can be substituted for other ones if you are creative enough but it is not ideal. There have been very few updates over the past couple of years to this app the developer is clearly focused on the much more expensive subscription home design app and will probably never even bother to update this one again. The app is functional as it is but don’t expect any improvements from this profit driven developer.
