Cummins Guidanz™ is a new suite of genuine service products, features and capabilities available from Cummins. The Guidanz mobile app helps you speed up the repair process and improve customer uptime. Among the features are the following: • Equipment and device dataplate information • Prioritized Cummins fault codes and descriptions • Ability to share any information in the app via email • Route Parameter Manager diagnosis, repair and update functionality • Read industry standard J1939 fault codes for all connected devices • English, Spanish, and French language support – Cummins certified service providers who subscribe to the Immediate Assessment feature of Guidanz also have access to: • Prioritized faults and the top three most likely root causes • Estimated service times • A history of recently retrieved information, faults, and analysis right on your phone • The ability to turn assessments into Guidanz Job Orders to track the equipment throughout the service event To use Guidanz you will need a Cummins INLINE™ datalink adapter. Simply plug either the INLINE 7 or the new INLINE mini wireless adapter into the J1939 connector on the vehicle or equipment, and then connect to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth®. Mobile mechanic for a Cummins powered bus fleet. The app gives you translation of J1939 codes with brief explanations. It will not clear codes, so it is back to the shop for more complicated jobs. I’m finding it good for sensor swap outs or disconnects. Avoid calibration updates as Bluetooth is not as reliable as a cable connection(a shop job for sure). I hope to see more development of the app. For those whom can afford the telematics subscription, good luck. For the poor man, go with QuickServe online or hard copy manuals.

So the idiots at Cummins decided to ditch quickserve app and use this guidance trash that doesn’t even work. This has become a money making for them. Also, while you are it Cummins needs to put better product on the road besides these machines that keep breaking down. It’s time for CAT to come out of retirement and show these vampires at Cummins how to make a real engine that last more than a million miles.

I used this App a lot because we are a Dealership selling used Cummin engines, and we no longer have access to this App to have information on each engine we sell. this is something really disappointing and even more so when it says that you have to pay more than $1,200 a year for them to give you simple information
