These lights and software are complete junk. It’s really too bad zero star reviews aren’t an option. There’s no way any of the positive reviews are legit.1) Software crashes while trying to update light’s firmware. Every time.2) IF you can sync the lights, they will ultimately disconnect and you will not be able to reconnect them.3) Group names will randomly go from the name you select to generic name like group_3.4) IF you can find or contact to your lights and are able to add them to a group, they randomly unsync and you will not be able to control them.5) Lights regularly drop out of sync. You will get a message that they are out of range even when you hold your phone inches away.6) IF you can get the app to sync, it rarely sees all the lights (as in you delete all the lights and start over info a futile attempt to get everything to work together). It’s more likely that you will see few to few to none of them. Pressing the sync button, nothing happens.7) All of this happens even after going through the reset process, deleting all lights and groups then restarting, and deleting and reinstalling the software. Save yourself time,$$$, and Frustration... go with Hue Sync by Philips.

I bought 48 of the CE 4” LED can lights for my basement. After many many hours I can only get 3 out of the 48 to work properly. When scanning for lights it does not find them, but when going to the update firmware section it sees all of the lights so I tried updating the firmware on them and the app keeps crashing randomly throughout the process I have tried everything you can think of such as 1)updating one at a time, this works randomly and light may not show up as synced. 2) took lights out of the can and let them hang same results as above. 3)turned off every other device in the house. 4)deleted the app several times and reinstalled. 5)Followed the rest light process (the documents with the lights say to turn the lights on for 3 seconds then turn them off for 3 seconds and do that 5 times to reset the lights, this process left many of the lights blinking. The app says to do the process with 7seconds on and 3 seconds off for 5 times this did nothing but have many of them blinking. I cannot return the lights because I already threw away the packaging when I installed them.VERY DISAPPOINTED 😡 the light could be great if I could get them all to work as advertised!

Terrible app,software, and interface, constantly disconnect and rarely function properly. The menu gives you the option to go to the Q&A tab or the support tab but neither actually work, they just load forever. If i could give zero stars i would. If you want color changing smart lights just spend a bit more for some Phillips hue lights, the small amount you save with these is not worth the constant struggle and the dealing with useless developers that offer zero help or customer support.

I put one of these 5/6 color changing recessed lamps in my ceiling fan fixture. The app loses connectivity every time the lamp is switched off, requiring a reset to add it again. I’d like to have this app going on multiple devices, but the share profile zip file is password protected and it’s not my password, no telling what it is.I gave it one star since it won’t let you write a review unless you tap a star.Do yourself a favor, look at other brands.The Feit lines of lamps seem to have decent apps that work much more consistently.
