Ok needs some improvements

The app categories are not organized well. There should be a category for BOGO and organic items. Also BOGO only works in the app when you buy the exact same item.. not like in the store where you can mix flavors for the BOGO etc. You also can’t save items for easy access next time. You also pick the time at the end which I don’t like, i’de prefer it to be at the start. Also, there should be something to indicate them to substitute items (last week my item was out, they couldn’t get ahold of me and then I didn’t get my item), They should model the app to be like the Walmart grocery pickup app which is really easy and user friendly. I don’t mind paying more for the food to get Publix quality. I’ll keep using the app for now but am looking forward to updates.

Why? Just why?

The old saying goes. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Why would you change the ability to change your vehicle on the app. I’ve looked! I’ve looked everywhere! It’s gone, it used to give you an option to do it when you went to pay for your order and again before you went to pick up said order. Why is that option now gone? Then to top it off it’s not in your settings either! So you’re telling me I have to actually login to the website to change my vehicle? Why? What sense does that make? Y’all out here making the public employees out here looking dumb! My guy was walking all around the parking lot looking for me and I kept missing him to let him know it was my order! I knew the vehicle was wrong but I’ve always had the option to change it before I went to pick up anything. We live in a day and age where A.I. is better and smarter than us. So leave it to A.I. stop messing with things. I love Instacart but this is a problem for me and before you say Publix and Instacart have different apps; I know they do but I checked both apps and was unable to change my vehicle details. FIX IT!

And yes I wrote the same review on Instacart app. I’m mad. It’s getting too hot out here to have people walking the whole parking lot looking for a car that doesn’t exist.

Beware!!!!

When I logged into Publix and needed my groceries delivered, I was transferred to Instacart. The woman that did the shopping for me was good and we were even able to message each other if she picked a substitute I did not care for. (Although some items were not available, there are substitutes.) here’s the problem: once my groceries were delivered, I received an urgent message from my bank blocking a transaction in the San Francisco area. Luckily my bank did not let a transaction go through, especially since I shopped in Miami. The headquarters for Instacart is in San Francisco. I immediately cancelled my card, deleted the Instacart app from my phone and contacted them to let them know what happened and because I deleted my account online, the woman I spoke to said they were not able to help me. She said that my account was probably hacked but couldn’t be sure. Unless hackers are monitoring Instacart continuously and since headquarters for Instacart is in San Francisco, I don’t know what happened except that my bank prevented any transactions going through. All Instacart could provide me with was an “I’m sorry”. I will not use this company ever again and I thank god that my bank has a number of preventative actions in place to help me. If you use this company to purchase anything, you might be on the hook to pay for things that you did not buy….. Beware!!!!!
