Went to order, had item in cart and checked out and it said something about an update then was asked for multiple OTPs and then after reentering my info was taken back to the homepage. Unsure if order was placed. After checking saw that it was not ordered, still in cart even though I got forced into this workflow by checking out so I went to check out (again) it defaulted to a scheduled time which I changed to asap but it now insisted on 11:15 time regardless, which was 21 minutes from current time (was 10 minutes before being forced through the workflow and all the new information) my. Got to store and they had it “scheduled” not asap so using the app to get a jump on waiting there was useless. Waited anyway. Poor experience overall. If you are going to update an app do the hard work and get the info copied behind the scenes and spend time on the workflow use cases

The new app update they launched has made the ordering process nearly unusable. It would have taken less time to go to the store and order myself in person. Anytime I click on an extra topping or add-on the menus glitch and close so you have to restart the selection process every time. More add-ons are now a sub-option of add-ons and make it miserable to navigate. Trying to checkout as a guest forces you to enter your information only to be taken right back to the menu on completion. During the checkout process the app doesn't support American Express 4-digit security codes and gave me several "unable to place order please try again in a while" errors generically. Once it was placed, the order was marked as delivered inside the app when it wasn't even picked up by the driver yet, leaving me confused. There's absolutely no way to contact them in the app or even contact info available so I had to go on Google to find the store number and call to see if my order was even in the process.Launching new features is great but if they're not tested properly it makes it miserable as a customer. I'd rather just order through Uber or DoorDash directly at this point.

This app used to work fine before the new (and pointless) login via Olo. Now it just hangs. For crying out loud, I was already logged in and had a sub and a cookie I was excited to order in my cart and then the app auto-logged me out in favor of the broken new Olo login and now I will be getting dinner elsewhere. Guys, I am a software dev too, you MUST test before you release. The bar for sw development has simply gotten too low. Be better! (That is not just the devs of this app, at least a dozen formerly functional apps have fallen off a quality cliff lately, but somebody needs to tell “the community” that you are making us all look bad. Stop it!)Love the food though.

I rarely write a review for an app. Most of the time I just delete it and move on. I’m compelled to write a review because I love DiBella’s and collecting points for rewards. Today I took my lunch break at DiBella’s down the street from my job. Great location and awesome people who work there. As I was cashing out I was asked if I have an account. Well, of course, I’m here all the time. Apparently, my number didn’t work because of the update. I was told to create a new account so I can retain my points. While dining I attempted to create an account unsuccessfully because the submit button didn’t advance. I waited until I got home to try again to no avail. I closed the app, deleted the app and still no success.After reading a few reviews I quickly realized I had joined the list of disgruntled customers who were unable to use the “NEW” app successfully.Again, I love DiBella’s and would like to love the app as well.
