Good then not so good

The app worked just fine at first till lately. I can’t log in now. Invalid user name or password. I haven’t changed a single thing. I can get into the GTE Mobile app fine and log into the web site using my ID and password with no issues. In fact, I am able to get into the GTE Cards app via the GTE Mobile app. I just can’t log straight into this app.Something went wrong... Please fix this issue.

Can’t connect debit card

This app is so frustrating. When entering my credit card from GTE, everything linked fine. When trying to link my debit card, I’m repeatedly told my address doesn’t match and get locked out of the app for a half an hour. As a 9 year member of GTE, I’m disappointed at their lack of decent mobile rollouts. All of their apps look like they were built quickly, cheaply, and have an array of bugs. The service standard at any physical location is way higher and much more enjoyable. This app has potential, but as of now it’s almost completely useless.

App worked great until I jailbroke my phone. GTE cards developers claim that for my security the app no longer works. GTE Cards devs are too lazy to actually analyze what jailbreaking does so their “security concern” and blocking me from logging in is uneducated and uniformed developers at best, violating user and member respect at worst. I’ve seen UNjailbroke my phone and the app continues to give me that error, rendering my daily driver of a phone now unable to install or use this app entirely. Remove these heinous security practices you tout because your team is uneducated.

Good thing I try things out myself instead of taking other people’s words. I downloaded the app, logged in using my GTE credentials and all of my cards were there. No need for any zip code/address etc. I’m able to activate/deactivate my cards, set limits and notifications etc. Works with no issue.
