HISTORY
Ulti-Planner is the culmination of over 20 years experience in building mobile calendar and organizer apps. The original Ulti-Planner was conceived in 2004 on Windows Mobile. We have since made top level productivity apps including Extreme Agenda and The Grid Calendar, with great success. We have taken that experience and put over 1200 hours in to make our engine the most modern, fast, small, clean, and flexible calendaring system for iOS. The results are the new Ulti-Planner.
SUPPORT
We are known for our technical support so contact us directly from within the app in the settings with any issues you may have. Or explore our website for answers you may want on how things work. A question that does come up a lot, is people think that our app is responsible for Apple Event data disappearing. Please check that you just don’t have the data filtered out but more importantly Apple has a setting in Calendar in the main Settings app that is called ’Sync’ that can hide older events from you.
Note that for some of the advanced features like icons, lists, and hashtags, info will be added to your event and reminder notes in order to save and sync this info.

I had to write a review on this application. Like many others, I have tried them all but this product meets all my needs in a calendar application. Way to go on the feature set. There clearly is attention to detail and that is appreciated by all users. The project component takes takes to a new level of organization. Calendar sets are the game changer for me. I not only separate work from personal but I have a separate calendar set for just daily habits. Love the use of color and options throughout the application. Nice work!My only wish would be to add a version for the Apple Watch. Thank you for your work and I look forward to future updates.
Developer Response
Thanks for the feedback and we’re glad you like the projects module, and the power of Category filter sets which we just built a new view around(try out Split View in version 2.10)
Seems Nice, But…

*** Thanks for your response. • You wanted to know about the glitch in Extreme Calendar. So I have written up a description of it and will post it as an Extreme Calendar review (it is somewhat difficult to describe so hopefully you will be able to understand what I am trying to convey). ***I was excited when I discovered Extreme Calendar and eventually got the paid version. It was great in many ways and I used it for years. However, it stopped being updated long before it was replaced, despite at least one troublesome glitch that should have been addressed years ago. Now there is Ulti-Planner (nice name!) which, while also pretty nice (as far as I can tell from the free version), requires you to pay for several features that came free with Extreme Calendar, and has a one-time paid version that is almost twice as expensive as Extreme Calendar’s paid version was. I have considered biting the bullet and paying for this new calendar as well. However, my experience with Extreme Calendar made a memorable impression and I really have to wonder whether, in time, regular updates for this calendar (or any updates at all) stop coming as well. That is a real concern with any app as expensive as this.
Developer Response
Thanks for giving it a try and for the support of Extreme Calendar. And thanks for following through with the glitch report, it was immediately fixed and went out in an Extreme update. The cheap one time purchase model is a problem all developers face, and while we are glad you used and enjoyed it “for years” for one cheap price, in the end it doesn’t keep the lights on. We hope that with real support and revenue we can continue to support this and grow and evolve our whole line. We have continued to do major enhancements in Ulti-Planner, and have a cool roadmap planned that this new enhanced code base allows us to do, that the Extreme line made much harder(a lot of that code is over 13+ years old). Just a small point, I would think our company is the exact opposite of your concern, as the Extreme apps came out in 2010, and are extremely stable and yet still getting updates now. So if you are expecting all apps to last 13+ years with full support for one small one time purchase, I'd like to think you would re-think your expectations on the app world. We are kind of the exception...Thanks again.
An Awesome planner app on the AppStore!!!

Ulti-Planner app has everything that you would think of in a planner app. Rich in features, Elegant in look, Very intuitive to use, and a Great thought process overall! Though there are hi-fi apps over there, you can’t find something like this for sure.Mac integration is fantastic and it syncs so smooth for me and the integration works fast too! Some cosmetic enhancements like few lighter colors for solid theme shall be added. Every solid color that are provided are kinda either dark or too bright. Yes, Pastels would look fantastic as someone commented. It’s also missing watch app integration, but it’s ok not a big deal for me. Hope the dev working on it. Still there are some features can be added. My Only thought is, why this wonderful app’s dev is idle since last 6 months.!?Hey dev, if you happened to read this comment, just give some noise that you are there. Push at least some minor updates weekly or biweekly, so users would know that you are active ;)Thank you and appreciate the wonderful work!

Thanks for writing. Watch for a pretty nice update this week, and a bigger update coming this spring. You can always send feedback and ideas to the tech support email, and I would have let you in on the plans. :)Thanks again.
The best calendar app

The new version has a more sophisticated look than the previous one. I like this calendar because it allows you to use emojis so that you can tell at a glance what your schedule is. You can also have a detailed month view vs the little dots on Apple’s calendar which tells you nothing. It’s frustrating that a smart company like Apple can’t see that this view is useless. Ulti-planner also shows a detailed day view. There’s no other calendar apps that does this as brilliantly as Ulti-planner. And I’ve looked at dozens. The developer is also very responsive to correcting some glitches in the early software version

Thanks. Hopefully version 2.0 and beyond has brought your calendaring to the next level…
Version 3.0 features design enhancements for iOS 26!
It has new customizations of the main month view, so you can replace the list for the selected day at the bottom with either a Day Grid or the Agenda List, the latter making it an infinite scrolling list that will update the selected day as it goes.
Try the new compact interface, where the day or agenda list will show more information without scrolling.
We have also added some often asked for customizations like the font used in the calendar, a compact dot month style, and allowing you to set the strip "Week Display" when swiping up in the month to have a different format selected.
We would also like to welcome native speakers of 3 new languages, German, Portuguese, and French. We also appreciate corrections to the translation if some translations are a bit off, just email us the suggestions using support.
Version 3.01 is just a little cleanup, squashing one big hangup issue and updating some of the icons to iOS26.
If you love version 3.0, let us know with a rating or review!
