Welcome to the Mountainside Fitness app! Mountainside Fitness is Arizona’s largest locally owned health club chain, with locations throughout the Valley. The app allows our members to check class schedules at all of our locations, add a class to your calendar, and register for Peak Performance classes. Create personal goals and track your workouts both in the club and on the go. Our app allows members to sync with popular fitness tracking devices to stay motivated. And no need to carry a membership card, members are able to check in to the club with our app. Mountainside Fitness app uses the Health app that is pre-installed on your iPhone to sync nutrients and workouts data. Because of this, the app will ask you to grant read and write access to your nutrients and workouts data. Your Health sync data is only visible to you and is not sent to anyone but yourself.

First of all I must say Esteban is an awesome instructor. He has great energy with music to match. I always feel like I’ve gotten a really good workout when I finish. My only criticism is the AC. It doesn’t seem to work well in that room. It’s a room that should definitely be cooler then the rest of the gym due to so many people in a small space sweating it out but it is actually warmer then the rest of the gym By the time we are halfway through the BO is pretty bad because we are all very sweaty. My hope is this gets fixed soon. I will still keep going though because the instructor makes the class worth it

Need Better Onboarding Program for Employees

Basic employee knowledge is underwhelming. Reserved a pickleball court on the app. Showed I reserved it with confirmation number. Myself and two others drive the 30 minutes to the location that had the court. Employee says that I don’t have it reserved according to her. Another chimes in that they don’t do reservations on Saturdays. That the app is not right. Then another employee makes a reservation at another location in Scottsdale. (She didn’t know where it was so that should have been a clue). Drive 15 minutes to that one. Get there and are informed that they don’t accept reservations. You can see where this is going. Wasted a Saturday thinking we had a reservation. I will take ownership for not getting someone that knows what they are talking about. Didn’t want to offend a young apparently new employee that I believe wanted to help. She and the others aren’t trained well. (This is the second similar experience I’ve had in two months. The other one was also about what location had what and exactly where the location was around cold plunges). Additionally the app should be very clear about how, when and where reservations are accepted). Other than that, facilities are generally fine if you can get past the sandpaper towels)

Wish could log which cardeo exercises did on app but my location doesn’t have setup that part yet although it appears to be coming down the road

The app is helpful in seeing what classes are available. Sometimes it’s slow to respond when trying to book a spot and unfortunately doesn’t always allow cancellation of a class when attendance isn’t possible.
