Can no longer use app due to Terms - Terms Breech HIPAA

I have let my Provider and Practice know that I can no longer use the app Healow because i cannot accept the Terms & Conditions. READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PEOPLE. While I am not directly negatively affected by the Terms other Patients are & they are negatively affected. The current section about Teens and accessing their Patient Portals MUST be re-written before I can accept any Terms. Teens DO NOT need permission from their Parents to create and access their Patient Portal. Teens do need to take the time and think before granting either parent access to the Patient Portal. Attn. Teenagers: You DO NOT have to give your Parents access to your Patient Portal. If you are a Teenager and you are forced to give up your medical record to your parents due to this app then you can take people to court for a HIPAA Privacy breech and forced coercion. Any Parent who takes this access without informing the Teen they do not have to give Parents access is breaking the law.

Many many attempts to use this website…impossible. I am usually pretty good on computers, but gave up on this app. Will just call Dr’s office with any questions about my healthcare.

I have so many problems with this app it is not user friendly very difficult to verify information it is 2022 and this is a very generic cheap app.
