We have subscribed to Blue Mountain for decades. We use both printable cards and e-cards through Blue Mountain. Of course it started out as just a website, but we tried the app when it came out. Initially I wasn’t crazy about the app. I felt like it didn’t have as wide a selection as the website and was a little glitchy. But I just tried it again for the last month or so and obviously there have been some changes. I love the app now. If anyone is just using the free cards, they are great, but it is definitely worth the yearly rate to access all the cards, and you can also see what cards you have sent to whom in the past. I think it may be around $35/year now - really worth it to me.

It has been a wonderful app and has help me be a better friend by using this wonderful selection of cards for a variety of birthdays, holidays, etc. And it saves money on stamps and mail and can be a lifesaver for those last minute times you say oh my gosh I forgot so it’s his birthday or anniversary. So if that ever happens to you, you might want to consider using BlueMountain. It’s been a great app and literally a lifesaver on several occasions.

I like the blue Mountain e-card on my browser, but it’s always pushing for me to use the app. The app would not open on my iPad Air five at all. Now on my later iPad Air, The app does open, however it’s really annoying because it only lets the app be in the portrait orientation, which, being as I have a keyboard attached to my iPad means that I might just happen to be charging the iPad and the app is basically making me rest the iPad right on the charging cable. If you’ve ever tried doing that you know it doesn’t work. These e-cards work perfectly and the landscape orientation on probably any browser but definitely on Safari. Maybe I should have taken two stars off, but I like the rest of what the e-cards can do.

When Hallmark, my all time favorite app for cards went out of commission, I was miserable. I relied on that app for every occasion and holiday, and could not imagine there would be a comparable alternative. After looking at a few competitors I found Blue Mountain. Not only did it have a fair selection of e-cards, but it has increased the variety and number of choices over time. I am pleasantly surprised to find new items when I look for cards for friends am family. The site also offers the services Hallmark offered, address book, reminders and keeps a record of cards sent so customers are not redundant when sending our messages.
