Had a solid 9 months of hasls free general liability. Then at month 10 the double digit insurance payment that was on autopay went up 600%. Bait and switch got sent an email saying “get ready for another year of insurance” and showed an amount that looked like what i had paid for 6 month of coverage. Turns out they can jack up the price to half a years worth of coverage and charge that monthly and its on me to catch their sneaky little ways. Quick google search and tons of bbb complaints show this is their modus operandi. By the time i noticed it. I had been charged 4 years worth of coverage in just a few months. Reached out and got 0 resolution. Good thing i didnt actually have a claim of some kind because im also seeing people not getting paid out. If you need rock bottom coverage to meet a requirement, go for it. But check it montly so you can catch when they “upgrade you to a better more premium plan” or sneak in that ole 600% price hike. Payday lenders are at least up front about stealing your money.

In addition, all policies are subject to their own terms and conditions. Please know that we do send out a notices for change in premiums 90, 60, and 30 days prior to the premium change to your policy. I’m not sure why people are saying they’re being overcharged? This is my 3rd year and I pay my full year upfront and I know exactly how much I’m paying. I’ve have received refunds after each audit (not a ton, but at least they give money back). I suspect people who say their rates went up significantly don’t realize that insurance companies review how much risk you expose them to. So if you say you’re doing handyman work and then you’re out framing 3 story houses and billing out 750k a year, yes your premiums go up. Anyway… creating certificates on demand is an awesome feature. No more hounding your agent for 3 days to get a certificate. You can do it in 3 minutes on your phone. This is extremely helpful.

From an operations standpoint, everything is exactly as needed. I run a mid-high end remodeling company with only a few subs. I can produce certificates easily for additional contractors and customers, as well as email them via next directly. Everything is very simple and user friendly. Since I am working with my hands most days, I dont have extra time to wait for an insurance agent to get back to me- being in control of whats going on has been amazing! I have recommended to several friends in the industry and they are as pleased as I am.

Along with our new name, we've updated the app with a crisp, high-resolution logo, app icon, and smoothed out the startup animation.
