One App to Rule Them All

In comparison to other similar apps, like Bevel and Athlytic, Sonar has three strengths: (1) configurability; (2) integration support; and (3) appearance. Want to reorder a section, hide a metric, change a view? No worries. Want a place to aggregate your data from Oura, Withings, Apple Health, and Strava? You found it. Want that data to be attractively presented against beautiful and configurable backgrounds? You got it. Want pages and pages to drill down through, with all the data explained and presented with accompanying actionable insights? Sonar’s got you covered. I didn’t realize at first that this is exactly the app I’ve been looking for because it wasn’t set up the way I wanted right out of the box. Once I took the time to tweak everything, though - holy cow. I will no longer need to check multiple apps daily and piece my health picture together across them. Sonar is my new one-stop-shop.

I’ve been using Sonar for a couple weeks now and love how I am able to see everything from all sources in one place. The app functionality and graphics are intuitive and clean, with a lot of good advice thrown in. Even though you can add multiple streams of info from numerous sites (i.e.: Strava, Apple Health, Training Peaks, etc) the app will not duplicate your data or workouts. There is also ways to prioritize sources if you want to. In the first week I did have an issue with some of my nutrition info from Cronometer not making it into Sonar. Their customer service and tech team followed up promptly, resolved the issue in a couple days, and followed up with me throughout the process to make sure their fixes worked. No chat bot involved LOL!

There are so many of these apps. So so many. I have downloaded and tried just about all of them. The subscription prices for some of them are just nuts. Some of the subscription prices are fair. I’m seeing more crazy prices than not. Sonar gives you good information and makes you want to give them money without them trying to hold you hostage for additional features. I think I’m going to end up settling on about three of these apps and the ones that cost more than they should, hopefully there will be a Christmas sale. Other than that, this one is definitely extremely solid and one that I will keep and I will happily give them money without them extorting it from me! Thank guys!

Sonar is a game-changer in the world of health and fitness apps. As someone who has over 7 different wellness apps across 3 different devices, it’s tough to track all of my various metrics and data. I’m so glad I finally found an app to combine all of this information into one central hub! It’s super easy to navigate even if you’re not tech-savvy, and it presents your data in visually appealing graphs to help identify trends in your routine. Sonar has definitely simplified my health journey and I could not recommend it more!

Sonar is a game-changer in the world of health and fitness apps. As someone who has over 7 different wellness apps across 3 different devices, it’s tough to track all of my various metrics and data. I’m so glad I finally found an app to combine all of this information into one central hub! It’s super easy to navigate even if you’re not tech-savvy, and it presents your data in visually appealing graphs to help identify trends in your routine. Sonar has definitely simplified my health journey and I could not recommend it more!
