Tokyo First Timers
My boyfriend and I stayed here in October 2019. May and her mother were so extremely kind and generous, there are complimentary goodies such as bananas, breads and coffee in the lobby in the morning. This is a boutique hotel so there are only a few rooms and 3 floors, giving the hotel a very intimate and cozy feel. The rooms are equipped with complimentary Netflix which was extremely beneficial when we were contained to our room due to Typhoon Hagibis. The day before the typhoon, May gave us a call and informed us about what to do and answered any questions we had. It was our very first (and hopefully only) typhoon. She did this with all the guests from what I saw. She is extremely caring and made for the hospitality business. We arrived very early in the morning and May had a binder of breakfast, lunch and dinner places that were near the hotel and the times they opened. The Barn was a very convenient home base for traveling around Tokyo and it was nice to return to silence at the end of the day. We plan on staying here again in the future we loved it so much. From the beginning, this app, even within context of changing infrastructures, within networks, and all of us with individual security challenges test our patience I knew something was different immediately in the software design of this app.
That is, I have often felt I was falling between the cracks in apps in the last 2 years, so was this skeptical of one that would hold so much info ( safety, financial) and transport hotel details of a reservation. But, it does, and so seamlessly set up my personal and business accounts (and led me thru process of organizing my 'books') in just making a travel plan that I was unaware of all the gains until now.
The ease of use, for those of us with little or waning patience for glitches, 'fear of losing things' syndrome is great...hang in there thru a 3-4 bookings. it will all start appearing, syncing, all history intact, etc. My hope is (once again...) restored!!! Beautiful.
Worst third party company
Do not use this thirst party booking company ! I booked my reservation months before my event to avoid any problems with my reservation as time got closer too my event they decided to cancel my reservation the week of my event , first of all they had a month to check if they over booked they still had the audacity to charge my card 2 weeks before my event and they still didn’t notice I was over booked they ended up sending me and email saying my reservation was canceled due to overbooking I called and all I was told was there was nothing they could do since they are a “third party booking service “ I know that but still I would think they would help there customers in getting a new reservation for my stay they still wanted me to reserve another property at full price ! And they will refund me the difference it was gettin close to my event that I had no other option honestly my next reservation was bad I had the worst experience and till this day I’ve been tryin got get my difference back and All I keep getting that I will receive wallet credit I do not wanna use there service no more I recommend that you guys don’t neither save yourself the stress and time I would suggest using another booking company
