We have been members of Amoco Federal Credit Union since the early 1980s when we lived in West Texas. At that time we did not have online banking so our transactions were limited. Then in 1995, we moved to Galveston County and we were able to do active banking at the Texas City branch. Since then, we moved to the Austin area and we have done the majority of our banking online.We love this benefit and have been very happy to be members of the Amoco Federal credit union. We are not able to attend the Amoco yearly meetings anymore because the travel time is too long. But when we were in Texas City, we loved to go to the meetings. Thank you so much for all that you do, including the courteous service and fast responses.

AMOCO FCU treats you like family. They’re always very friendly and helpful. I never have to sit on hold long at all. I get to talk to an actual human being who is always kind, courteous, and genuinely concerned about how you’re truly doing. They’re all about their customers and how they can help them. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to move to a town in the Dallas area area, and there are no AMACO FCU’s around here, but you can bet your bottom dollar I will not be changing to a local bank. My chef’s direct deposited, and all my banking can be done online and/or through my AMOCO app, which is very user friendly.

AMOCO FCU treats you like family. They’re always very friendly and helpful. I never have to sit on hold long at all. Finally a company/bank gets an app right! This app handles everything you could want with ease — transferring money, monitoring multiple accounts, sending/receiving money through Zelle, etc etc.. You can organize your accounts, even rename them which is something I didn’t know I even needed. Life is so much easier having the AMOCO App! The foundation is close to perfect so as they continue to build out & add new features I’m sure it’ll only get better over time.

No matter what my situation or banking need is I am greeted with smiles and people looking to help. I have financed truck, boat, and personal loan. I am treated fairly and given the best rates. Also I love the payment forgiveness. If I pay on time I am rewarded by knowing if times get tough or it’s the holiday, I am given the option to skip a payment without it effecting my credit. I haven’t used that option, but knowing it there is a big relief.
