Very easy to use. I remember when you used the same login name and password repetedly and I thoght “all is well”. In this version you find that dashlane will let you know to change repeted passwords or login names. They tell you if your password has been involved in a breach and take you to the website to change it right away. Now the smartest thing to do is to have separate login id’s and passwords. There is no possible way for me to remember them, so Dashlane to the rescue. It can automatically log me in or I can look up my creditentials by going to the store/company/institution name in my search and it shows me both my login and password. I like to add things in notes about other things besides my password, such as the date my subscription will auto-renew so I can cancel on-time or when my special offer for the sattelite service expires so I don’t have a surprise bill, if the customer service representative gave me any additional information I have it recorded there. I can also share my passwords with my husband, so if I’m not around he doesn’t have to panic to pay bills. I guess my only issue is I used to be able to have 3years for the price one year is now and they don’t offer a family deal if your family is two people, where it would be more economic if you had a larger family. I feel I should have been grandfathered in since I was with them at the start and have been loyal to their product.

Love this password manager: VPN is great to keep “prying eyes” chasing their tales & that auto generated password feature allows so much flexibility from how complicated you want it to how short or long. I update mine every 90 days with minimum 18-20 variable characters, it links to all my & my wife’s device’s (family plan) which saves me from having to individually upgrade each one. That was time consuming. Only one little tweek I’d suggest & it may have nothing to do with DASHLANE but more with one of my bank accounts extreme security measures: I am not always able to sign on to the account unless I deactivate the VPN or close the bank app & try again. It’s a hit & miss affair. Well worth the annual fee for the Premium Family Plan. Hey, if some of you (especially moving into the older generations) can’t remember even the simplest of passwords, a no-no granny, then DASHLANE is for you. In todays world of hackers preying on the older generation’s failing memory, a longer more complicated password is your best avenue of protection. DASHLANE even allows you to generate your own passwords like we used to do. Best new feature: if you forget your DASHLANE password (they have no idea what it is) you can generate a new one. Before this new feature you’ d best not forget it or write it down and store it in a secure place‘cause if you forgot it, you are starting from scratch all over again. It’s comforting to me to know DASHLANE doesn’t store my passwords in “a cloud” like many of their competitors do.
Wow. This program is better and better.

Many people are looking for somehting with all those long passwords and diffrent ones for each login. This is so amazing. I am really glad I fell into Dashlane. I do not know how the others could be better. Prior comments I switch to this several years ago. Had a new webisite trying to improve it-self and dashlane came thrrough with a workaround - already built into its system. I think there is more to this program I still am not using. Prior comments Today was one of those days it showed its worth. It works great on a regular basis so to have a reason to write a review is when it goes beyond the norm. On a regular basis it acts as it should. It stores my info and offers it with prompts that needed for security but on obtrusive otherwise. Today, my scale was not working. How to contact that 4 year old scale (weight) company? I looked everywhere - got to the web site enough - and now what. I searched dash lane and found I logged in when i got the scale. A few minutes later was on the phone leaving a message (i was an hour early for their phone service). Then i noticed the big red sign “working on problem with iOS 9.3 connection.” So many times dashlane has my old information stored fort those times when i need it. In addition, the few times I wanted it to work and had troubles of my own making the service / help department were not speedy but business like and got the answers to me. This app also allowed me to make large passwords without worrying to use or remember them. Thank you dashlane. Keep up the good app.
You need this even if you don’t know it

I can not tell you how much I love Dashlane, I’ve never had a issue, never had a complaint and never want to go without. I have so many accounts it’s impossible for me to keep a secure (not reused) password for them all, until I started using Dashlane. All these years later... I’m still with them 100%. Nothing makes me more happy then having crazy password that even the NSA couldn’t crack. The security of knowing that if any one account gets hacked or compromised, they will not effect any of my other accounts. Looking back I can’t image a life without a password service. Yes it cost money but the stress relief of not worrying and not remembering, makes it so worth it. You literally only need to remember 1 password, the one to sign into Dashlane. You get to have your cake and eat it too.*Update*It has been a while since I first reviewed this app and I know most see a update as they “finally failed” or they fixed serious issues. Honestly, I still use Dashlane daily, I still tell everyone about Dashlane, I’m a very happy customer and I don’t plan to leave anytime soon. All of that being said, I liked the PC application but it has been phased out, it’s in the browser only now. It hasn’t really changed anything, nothing is particularly harder or easier to do but I miss the app because I didn’t have to open the browser.
Thanks for using Dashlane! Each new version includes bug fixes and stability improvements to deliver you the best Dashlane experience. We’ll also update you regularly about new feature releases and improvements.
