"Keeping track of your child’s health information is easier with the MyChildrensMercy app. This app allows you to access everything in your child’s patient portal, the secure online home for your Children’s Mercy Kansas City health records. Find important details You can see information like medication lists, allergies, immunization history and lab results. You can also manage scheduling details, such as making an appointment request and pre-registering for an upcoming visit. Keep in touch with your care team The messaging feature allows you to communicate easily with your Children’s Mercy care team. Your care team can also add things like clinic notes and educational materials about your child’s health. Participating providers can also allow you to add your HealthKit data to your electronic medical record. Use the MyChildrensMercy app to view: -Demographic information -Appointment information -Messages to and from your health care providers -Health summary information (allergies and problems) -Immunizations -Clinic notes -Education materials -Medications -Procedures -Vital signs -Lab results (including Pathology and Microbiology) -Radiology results As a reminder, the messaging features in this app are for routine health-related inquiries only. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 and do not use online messaging."

This app is horrible. I’m unable to access anything I need from my child’s medical record. I tried using the desktop version too, and I can’t even get that to work. For being such a major children’s hospital and primary outpatient care provider, you’d think their digital resources would actually function. Extremely disappointing and stressful for parents who rely on this information.

If I could Give this app zero stars I would. It hasn’t worked for me in months. I’ve spent hours with tech support. We’ve deleted my account and started over. I still have zero access to anything useful. It’s infuriating when I call and the phone system tells me all the things I can do in the portal. Except, no,i cannot. I promise.

I try to make an appointment for my daughter with a GI specialist and the only option it gives me is for diabetes care. There are so many platforms that are extremely useful from multiple health systems. I have no idea how this app is even published and made available for patients. It is useless.

Have downloaded the app repeatedly. Each time I go in and set it so it recognizes my face and it immediately says I attempted too many times and makes me login manually. Horrible app.
