GM car dealerships now have lot management and loaner fleet management on the go. Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac staff can download the Connexion GM OnTRAC mobile app, for greater efficiency away from the desk. The Warranty, Service and Sales staff use their GM OnTRAC login details to look up vehicles, customers, contracts and repair orders. Scan QR codes and license bar codes for quick searching and cut down on manual data entry. Know when your customers are due to arrive at the dealership and make sure their vehicle is ready and you are waiting for them in the yard, improving turnaround times and customer experience. Your valet drivers are guided through journey and handover checklists away from the dealership, with compliance contracts and valid insurance. Report damage as soon as you see it out in the yard. Scan a vehicle to get real time information on fuel and battery levels, odometer miles, tire pressure and oil levels for speedy and efficient maintenance work. All these great features are waiting for you today. Get your team mobile and download the Connexion GM OnTRAC mobile app now.

Forced use means no help

Of course this is an app General Motors is forcing us to use it, but there’s no help with the app. The camera doesn’t scan anything because nothing comes out clear everything is just blurry, but General Motors is making us use it. Even with the last update, the camera will not scan in so you have to type the Vin to all the vehicles. Not to mention the fact that if you want to take pictures of the license or insurance card, you can’t do that when you’re putting the information in of the license or the insurance card. You have to wait till you get past those sections and put all that information in and then ask the customer for that item back so you can take pictures later in the process… whoever is writing this app needs to take a page out of the TSD book. Their app works a lot better.
