As a mom of 3 boys under 5, it can be pretty challenging to find the time to workout. Jo not only relates to us in the fitness area, I think she relates to us in all aspects of life. In this app you will find a great variety of workouts: pregnancy friendly, postpartum, strength and conditioning, menopause and beyond, cardio, and so much more. This app is structured for you to find a workout program that fits your goals. Between challenges, accountability calls, reflections on scripture and personal growth, and so much more, Jo makes sure to aid your fitness journey by having as many resources available to you as possible. I can personally say that her workouts are effective and very enjoyable! As my online coach, Jo has helped me to get back in shape after my last 2 pregnancies. I am currently 8 months postpartum, and I’ve never felt better about myself before like I do now! Getting rid of that postpartum weight can be hard!! But with Jo’s workouts you will find it easy once you remain consistent! 🙏🏻❤️

I hated exercise my whole life until I found Grow With Jo. I learned that exercise doesn’t have to be difficult or exhausting, it just has to be enjoyable enough that you want to do it. As Jo says, “You have to stay consistent to see true and lasting results.” With these workouts, I WANT to show up every day. Her workouts are so fun, they give me energy, and they make me feel so much better in body and mind. Plus the amazing community that this app comes with. You have a diverse group of women from ALL over the world that are here to be your cheerleaders, and share their struggles and successes with you. You will never feel alone. You will have people lifting you up and you’ll feel so much better in every way. There are interactive programs that the community does all together or you can choose your own adventure. The calendar makes it so you never have to decide all on your own. There is support for you every step of the way. Download the app!

Sigh, I’ve never left an app review, but here we are. The app’s user interface is fine, but it automatically signs you up for the most insane barrage of marketing emails. The workouts aren’t for me, but there’s nothing wrong with them. Once I did manage to cancel after trying to navigate the website for awhile (I wasn’t able to unsubscribe through my phone settings), I received an email offering a free month and 20% off (seemed normal) and then another email that started with “Can I tell you something that might sting a little?” It went on to criticize my personal motivation to get fit as a way to springboard a marketing pitch for the GWJ app as the structure that would override my (apparently sub-par) motivation. I’m sure Jo is a lovely person, but this specific email was so off-putting. It came across as unprofessional, rude, and predatory toward women who are genuinely trying to do their best for their health. My motivation and ability to see physical results from exercise aren’t somehow lacking just because this app and style of workout isn’t my cup of tea. If you’re reading this and considering subscribing, just remember: YOU DO NOT NEED ANY ONE APP TO BECOME STRONG. THIS ONE MAY BE GREAT FOR YOU, BUT IT’S OKAY IF IT’S NOT.

I’ve been using the Grow with Jo app for the past 2 years and it has truly been life-changing for me. Not only has it helped me get more active, but it’s also boosted my confidence and given me so much more energy throughout the day. The workouts are fun, uplifting, and easy to follow, and Jo’s encouraging spirit makes me actually look forward to moving my body. One of the things I love most is that Jo is a believer. Her faith shines through in her content, and it’s been such a blessing in my life. Following her has helped strengthen my own walk with Jesus and reminded me that taking care of my body is a form of worship and self-love. It’s rare to find a fitness program that not only transforms you physically, but spiritually too.Grow with Jo has helped me grow in every way — stronger, more confident, and more rooted in faith. I’m so thankful for this journey and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get fit and feel better about themselves.
