I very rarely leave feedback, but wanted to thank the developer with a 5-star review. I have downloaded dozens of weight-tracking apps. And I’ve even paid for multiple. None come close to the functionality that is built into this great app. A few of the things I love include Apple Watch integration, live tracking of heart rate, ability to easily customize weight and sets during workouts, the customizable pause settings between sets, the visual interface of the Apple Watch app, the visual interface of the avatars that actually represent your body weight, the tracking of past workouts on the phone, and the ability to copy/paste sets and weight information easily. And on top of all that, all data is synced to the cloud and across multiple devices. There are only a few things I would like to see added. It would be nice to be able to see history on the Apple Watch app. I would like more “recommended” workout routines that are customized to you and progressively change weights over time (like in the Workout App). And it would also be nice to have a “lifetime” subscription option (like in the Workout App). But I won’t take off a star for any of those because this is truly a best-in-class app. Thanks again to the talented developer!
Original Pro User

Well since the 6.0 update with iOS 11 and WatchOS 4 they decided to make “Premium” and displease all current Pro users. That is what dropped the app from its original 4.8 to now 4.3 stars. Here’s where things get good. The developers actually LISTENED! Version 6.1 was released. They gave Pro users back all their features, after all we are the reason for the success of the app. If there is any one thing I expect from an app and it’s developers is LOYALTY. 6.0 was a swing and a miss. They got back up to bat and hit a homer with 6.1. I know for those of you that were not Pro users and are considering the $32/year, let me tell you this is the best weight training app that has ever hit the App Store or that ever will in my opinion. I can’t believe it’s not an Apple “essential” or “editors pick.” With that said is it worth what they are asking? I’d say YES. Adding a few bucks a month on top of your gym membership with this app will change your gym experience completely. Apple Watch users: this is the most functional and well put together app for the Apple Watch that has been developed thus far. I don’t bring my phone to the gym and I love it. This app has everything you need to be successful and progress in your fitness goals.

Worth it?

So I’m am the furthest person from being fit; although I do try to work out and I have downloaded several workout apps. I have downloaded this one in hopes that I would 1) not quit 2) get stronger as well as recovery, and 3) giving me work outs plans as well as feedback on my weight loss. Be warned though, I have only been able to use this once. The work out that I did kept track of all exercises in the gym so I liked that as well is that I didn’t have to carry my phone as it has a Apple Watch link so I just had to put all info in on my watch. Next, I got this app to get stronger for sure but also recovery. I was diagnosed with a femoral neck stress fracture and also to do my physical therapy with it too. It’s a plus that I can keep records for the doc on what I’ve done. Last, I like how the pro version offers several work out plans so I never had to guess on what I want to do in the gym. Last, I like with the weight measurements, it gives you a visual of what you look like and see how much you have lost. My recommendation is to get this app and if you can afford it, get the pro version.
Great, but annoying bugs not fixed for years
cromki
I reported some bugs to the dev years ago and they acknowledged it. Time goes by, new releases get all the new marketable features, but minor yet super annoying issues are still here. If you travel between the US and the rest of the world, your weights will not get actually converted when you switch the units back and forth: the numbers stay the same, only the units name change. This used to work fine before, but stopped at some point years ago. I am now permanently in Europe and have to calculate all my weighs from kgs each session to input them in lbs the app. There used to be an export function which allowed to download the data, which I could use to recalculate myself and reimport the weighs, but that is gone now with iCloud sync, which is a significant regression on its own. The other bug is with Apple Watch: if you have a Quick Menu configured to show next set and edit previous, it will NOT let you edit previous set if it was the last one in workout. You have to finish the workout and edit that last set by hand. I progress with each workout (Hepburn Method), so I have to do it each time. These aren’t big deals to be fixed, but somehow after 4 years or so they’re still here. I even inquired about them again just a month or two ago and got no response whatsoever.
