Tonitony’s best
Walmart card has its Pros and Cons and I am sometimes frustrated until I start reading about them and the support they provide when something goes wrong. My lack of knowledge should not be a problem for them and I am sorry for going off on the phone. Customer care is top notch and they know what they are talking about so I am glad I listened first. My problem was solved right away. Who knew? Read and I finally know the benefits are good and I just cannot let go of my card., they are there, better than the high end banks. Customer care is the best and they understand the pain and they take the time to let you know you do not have to suffer in silence. They could, however, educate the Walmart money store employees though. Some are nice but those young ones have an attitude and should be trained by the 1800 they throw at you. If they are trained then that would be 360 support, no doubt. Thank you Walmart for caring. Thank you customer support. Again sorry if I lost my cool.

No help and much prefer the old app

For background info, I've had a moneycard for 3 years. Multiple over the years from losing them but point still stands. The most recent on I got over a year ago and has been activated and working great. I went to go move money from my savings (still there btw) to checking and I get the pop up ad to download the new app, so I did. When I try to log in the the new app with my login information it signs me in to an OLD account, very old and CLOSED. I try texting the help support thing but it says my active card is not activated, so thats not helpful. I then create a new account and try to link my card and bank but it will not let me link the bank. So I CALL customer support, the first one was not helpful at all and did not understand what I was saying so I gave up on that. I gave it a few days and tried again earlier and it still was not working so I called customer support again, this time a ticket was created but I still have not heard anything back and I NEED the money in my savings out of my savings. I have never had this many issues with this card or app. No one is helping and my money is sitting there while I need it.

The previous app was just fine. If not better and more convenient so I dont see why we had to downgrade to an app that seems to still be a work in progress, takes forever to load, and is just frustrating all together!! Very irritating to have to close out the app 5 times because it just loads endlessly as soon as you open it. Sometimes its more than 5 times I’ll have to open and re open the app just to get to the login screen, and even when you make it there theres no guarantee once you type in your login info youll be able to access your money. You have to do off of this to just view how much is in your account and that is terrible. There is no point to having this and Im switching banks as soon as Im of age. If this new app is so glitchy and is STILL a work in progress, why force everyone to switch over to it? I believe there is nothing wrong with the bank itself, but in a new age where checking how much you have to spend is as easy as clicking a button on your phone, the app itself is trash.

Not liking new app

It doesn’t give me the slide balance anymore so twice as much time to verify funds having to remember password and type this long password just to check balance when I didn’t have to before! And can’t check my rewards balance activity on how long until I can redeem it in it used to tell me with just 1 click how many months I had till I could redeem not anymore! I don’t work at a place that does direct deposit so none of those options appeal at all so no matter how many thousands I deposit per month with $3 fees every time at store I also get charged $6 per month on top of that which was not the case when I first joined you used to be able to deposit $1000 and not get monthly fees this card I used to love has gone downhill for me with unhelpful chats as well with no love for customers in the feeling of chats and my questions not answered while the end chat on me! All my friends that have had it also closed there accounts I might do the same after 20 years of having card😥
