This is the future of safe, accessible and convenient point-to-point transportation.
Schedule an autonomous ride and step into the future of safe and convenient point–to-point transportation.
Robotaxi combines our automated driving technology and vehicle hardware to create a safe and convenient driverless experience.
Getting Started
To get started, download the Robotaxi app and use your Tesla Account credentials to sign in. If you do not yet have a Tesla Account, you'll need to create a Tesla Account before you can sign into the Robotaxi app.
Before Your Ride
Ensure you are within the service area shown in the Robotaxi app and enter your destination. When confirming your ride, you'll see the estimated ride fare and the estimated time before the vehicle is expected to arrive at your pickup location. Our Robotaxi fleet is currently made up of Model Y vehicles with plans to add Cybercab in the future. Once your Robotaxi vehicle has arrived, confirm the license plate number with the one provided in the Robotaxi app. After confirming your vehicle, open the door, fasten your seatbelt and tap 'Start Ride' in the Robotaxi app or on the vehicle's touchscreen to begin your trip.
During Your Ride
Customize your ride by selecting your climate settings, seat positioning, music preferences and more. Critical ride information will be available on the Robotaxi app and the vehicle's touchscreen, including monitoring your ride progress, changing your drop off location, and requesting support. You can always request the ride to pull over or stop, if needed.
After Your Ride
Once you arrive at your destination, gather your belongings, exit your vehicle, close all the doors, and provide feedback on your experience in the Robotaxi app.
Service Areas
Download the Robotaxi app to see a map of where service is available based on your location.

I recently tried Robo Taxi, and it’s hands-down the best ride-hailing experience I’ve had. The cars are far cleaner than any Uber or Lyft I’ve taken—spotless interiors, no lingering odors, just a fresh and comfortable vibe. The ride itself? Incredibly smooth. Compared to the often jerky or inconsistent driving I’ve experienced with Uber and Lyft, Robo Taxi’s autonomous system glides through traffic with precision. It’s also noticeably smoother than Waymo, which I found impressive.Safety is a huge plus. I’ve had some downright scary Uber and Lyft rides with reckless or distracted drivers, but Robo Taxi eliminates that worry entirely. The autonomous tech feels reliable, and I felt secure the entire time. Plus, it’s cheaper than both Uber and Lyft, and even undercuts Waymo’s pricing, making it a no-brainer for budget-conscious riders like me.Going forward, Robo Taxi is my go-to ride-hailing app whenever it’s available in my area. It’s cleaner, smoother, safer, and more affordable than the competition. Highly recommend giving it a try!
Revolutionary Technology That Can Truly Benefit Men

Although I’m a Chinese user and can’t access Tesla Robotaxi yet, I’m already very impressed by the technology Tesla is building. As a men’s rights advocate, I see huge potential in autonomous Robotaxi technology. For generations, men have been expected to bear the burden of owning, maintaining, and driving cars — taking on financial costs, time commitment, and accident risks. Tesla’s Full Self-Driving and upcoming Robotaxi (Cybercab) have the real possibility to free men from these traditional responsibilities.Low-cost, driverless transportation could significantly reduce male traffic fatalities, daily stress, and economic pressure, allowing men to redirect their energy toward health, creativity, and family. This is genuine progress that benefits men’s well-being and quality of life.Tesla is not just making cars — it’s creating tools that can meaningfully reduce unnecessary male burdens in modern life. Looking forward to the global rollout.Highly recommended.
cheap but shaky

Love it for an MVP. what a great deal and I love Tesla entering this market. The driving has left me feeling a bit seasick which is annoying, but the price is unbeatable. if the price was the same as Waymo, then I would 100% not ride with Robo taxi, but as long as Robo taxi is 20% of the price of the competition, then I think it’s a no-brainer and the best case scenario would be if you could get the driving to be as smooth asWaymo. One of the things I don’t like about Uber is how the Driver always wants to talk to you and I found it a little bit, annoying that the driver here had a lot of talking and question asking for me but every single question I asked Back he said was a secret. With all that said I’m still very impressed and it was still a five star review.
Lacks Basic Functionalities
Muna U
Not only is the software slow, unresponsive, and glitchy, but Robo taxi also lacks basic functionality that makes it inconvenient to use. Partway through my ride, I realized I left something important in my house before leaving on a trip. Any other ride share app would let me simply add a stop to return to my place and pick it up within the same ride, but this app not only don’t let me add stops, but I couldn’t even change destinations and then reorder the ride because it automatically leaves to go to serve its next ride. To add insult to injury, while on the phone with customer support, they told me that I have to go to the App Store and leave a 1-star review if I wanted to give feedback, which to me is rather ridiculous when I’m on the phone with a dedicated customer support agent. Why would I have to go through the extra steps after you’ve already inconvenienced me instead of the customer support rep having the ability to take feedback and file some sort of support ticket? All to pay $1 less than an Uber—this is why I don’t like being a Guinea pig.
