Jersey Mike's 4+

The app is easy to use but if judging on effectiveness of getting the order correct I’m rating a 3 or 4. Main issues: why is spicey mustard not on the regular screen? You have to request as a customization. Therefore this got my order wrong recently because when I requested mustard I thought there was only one mustard and I happened to get to the restaurant while they were making it then psychologically it was an issue because I “knew” it was not the taste I was anticipating. Then there is the issue of Swiss versus provolone. Sorry, but provolone has very little flavor but for some reason Swiss is not listed as an option but it is an option in the store. This issue knocked down my rating today from 4 to 3 because I realize again I forgot to customize. NEXT, I want an option to not cut that sandwich in half - these are not finger sandwiches- they are designed to eat so half the ingredients don’t fall out the bottom. When you cut the sandwich in half you double the chance of the guts falling out. Next- I order to go... get a fountain soft drink- why is there no option to buy bottled drinks- I tried to grab one a while back but apparently those are charged differently. I’ve never seen anyone grab those. Why? Why aren’t they on the menu?

I’ve I’ve enjoyed jersey mikes for several years at many locations and it’s a good sub as long as they stick to the old ways and don’t cut corners for the sake of a few pennies. Sadly I’ve seen some skimping as of the past couple years. Unless that’s just the Inverness store. I’m quite excited to experience the newly opened store in Crystal River. I just made my first order and will pick up 10 minutes from this review. Will report back. I placed an order for one giant and two regular subs on the app. Paid for them on the app. When I arrived, the shop was fairly busy. Two people in line, one at the pick up counter. The pick up guy left and a young girl asked my name. I told her and she said, “okay, they’re working on your order now.” Then a woman walks in and orders a turkey and Swiss regular sub. They proceed to make it. She gets the sub, pays and leaves. At this point, I’m the only one in the shop. Two guys are making subs, but I realize they aren’t mine. I said “I guess it doesn’t pay to order off the app! Where are my subs? I drove here from home. Took me nearly 20 minutes to get here and I’ve been her for ten minutes now”. No one said a word. Then I see a guy making my subs. I see the young girl bag the subs. The girl puts the subs down on the counter. No “thank you”, nothing! I now wish I hadn’t left them a $3.00 tip when I placed the order on my app. Nothing but inconsiderate, unappreciative kids working. Big disappointment today!
