Sharing your favorite trips and locations with friends and groups is easier than ever. Simply click the share button and choose who you want to share with - they'll receive a message and a link that takes them right to the spot you shared. This feature is perfect to re-trace steps, show friends how to get somewhere or just share your adventures for others to follow along!

The updated SOS system is our newest super-cool feature to make the water safer. Send an SOS to the community OR rescue services with a short message and your location. Anyone within 7 miles gets a message and everyone on the chart can see your location that updates every 30 seconds. This will create a drift path showing where you started and the direction you are moving - this will help establish a search grid if service or communication is lost. Rescuers and the community can also easily message, route to you directly or share the SOS with someone else on KnowWake.

Adding to the chart is easy and helps everyone. Whether you are adding a real-time waterway report, adding a missing point or editing an existing one - you can help the community and keep the chart current and accurate with local knowledge!
