Uncluttered screen and colorful, appealing graphics. A child touches a picture to add to the end of the pattern. Wrong choices are cleared from the screen. There is a progression to slightly more difficult patterns.I do think some of the patterns needed to have more elements presented in order to make the pattern clear. For instance, there patterns with 3 of one picture, followed by 2 of another picture and a blank. With only 5 pictures in the pattern, not enough information is given for a child to deduce the pattern of 3 apples followed by 3 acorns. In math instruction, patterns are usually repeated 3 times before a child is asked to extend them.

The app is colorful and the pictures are appealing to my little autistic clients. The clients I work with are non verbal low functioning. I use mostly the ABA patterns. My non autistic 4 year old granddaughter absolutely loves it! The levels are very challenging for her. We love the fall theme!
