14 mind traps not 9! Still an awesome app though
I love the app and personally could use a more comprehensive thought journal. There are 14 mind traps:
What If loop
I like that the app offers examples of what balanced thoughts are compared to unhealthful thoughts. So far, the app has helped me reconstruct a few distressful thoughts. But I personally could use the option to select and identify more mind traps and see suggestions for all 14 traps to help me redesign how I think. If this could be a future update, I would certainly change rating to 5 stars. Wonderful app guys!
good app :)
mindshift used to be an okay app, and i mostly used it because my anxiety therapist told me it would help. of course, me being lazy i didn’t use it much because it was very basic. there wasn’t much to do and i got distracted easily because of the simpleness. i stopped using it for a while but i have therapy starting up again, so i decided to give it a try. there appears to have been a major update because mindshift really stepped up their game. the app still has lingering aspects of the simpleness before, but it’s much more modern and there is much more to do. my favorite part of mindshift is the “chill zone”. there are multiple audio recordings for many different occasions, and there is both female and male so people can choose the voice they prefer. mindshift is a great app for people with anxiety and has been a major step for me in overcoming mine.
Already amazing but can be better :)
Already impressed with what it already has, and it’s amazing because there’s no ads and it’s free. Honestly I would just add maybe a few more recordings to the chill zone, which I’m actually surprised how well some of them worked for me. Also maybe allow for more space to write in the how you’re feeling :)
