What’s New

Version 1.4.3

What's New
- If you have no runs assigned, we will now default the map to focus on your district's transportation office
- Bus locations are smarter now, letting you know when you may be connected but no runs are active yet. The system will now automatically recheck your vehicle list if we haven't gotten a location yet, in case your district switched buses or is delayed starting the run.
- We simplified the submission process with forms if you have a single student
- If your district has a schedule for displaying data based on the academic year, we will now show you what academic year is currently active in the menu. This will help show why routes or data may have changed when your district changes this schedule.
- To further improve the experience when a district changes schedules, we've improved how a student gets linked to your account after you add them. We will automatically apply this link across all academic years, so if your district switches you no longer need to relink your student. The only time you will need to relink your student is if your district manually removes them.

What's Changed
- Improved support for certain district configurations
- Certain dialogs have been cleaned up for consistently and ease of use
- Error messages improved when adding a student
- Fixed a handful of bugs when sharing a student
- If you have no runs for today when filtering for today, we properly show a warning message instead of a blank section

Relevant timely updating of location.

This is a step backward from ride 360. I didn’t know there were steps backward from that app. The app is now full of information that still doesn’t tell you where the bus is. It fails at the one thing it could be useful for. If you can’t update the location of the bus in real time then just stop making and selling ridiculous, useless software. This is a waste of tax dollars that could be used on something that works. Update the location of the bus at least every 15-30 seconds or better yet, it’s 2024 how about real time. Then you might have something. Any review that says this app is good is a fake. 100% of parents I know find it useless.

We are sorry to hear this! We certainly don’t want this to be your experience. If bus location is supported by your district, we certainly want it to be working for you. If you can use the feedback section of the app to give us more information, we would love to get in contact and get things working for you and your district!

Nice transition from Ride360

This app has provided all the essentials for a view of our bus route and timing. Thumbs up for a nice transition from Ride360. Every app, heck every software product from the first one using the Mark II back in 1947, has some quirks, bugs, or oddities, hence updates are needed. For all those critical of this or any app, please contact the app developer and give more specifics as to the problems and how you got there. I am sure they will be pulling all nighters to get things fixed. Yes been there done that, created some bugs and fixed a lot more.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for the kind words! Our development team is eager to help and reads all the feedback that comes in. Glad you enjoy the new app!

UI has dead ends and use cases not thought out

Clicking on ‘select action’ allows you to enter a screen you cannot leave without force quitting the app.

Difficult to view the important details without navigating several screens. These details are: ETA to next stop (morning pickup or afternoon drop off).

In all, this seems like a step backwards from the Ride360 app, which wasn’t great but this one is worse.

Developer Response ,

We are sorry to hear this. If you want to leave the more feedback in the application, we would love to get in contact to see how we can improve.

For the “select action” issue, it’s a light mode problem that got addressed with the last update (1.2.25).
