The latest update removes the bus location button. The app is rendered useless as it no longer does the one thing it is supposed to do. Have left multiple feedback messages from within the app.
At current status the app is literally worthless.
*** reply. My wife and daughter have not updated and they have the “bus location” button so it’s not a district thing. It is specific to my version of the app or my app.
I have submitted 3 replies and marked “may contact if needed in all 3”. Will submit another if needed. Thank you for replying and looking into this.

Deleted the app, waited 24 hours and redownloaded. Not sure if some form of cache clear but working ok now.

The update would not have removed this button. The bus location feature is actually controlled by your local transportation department and it sounds like they have disabled it. We will review the feedback to try and get in contact with you. In order for us to reach out, you need to check the box that says “Tyler Technologies may contact me if needed”, otherwise we won’t be able to reply.

This app was advertised as realtime updates and notifications with the very useful ability of tracking the progress of my kids’ school bus. It failed miserably at each of those tasks. For instance, the app did not adjust the bus’s drop off time to reflect their school’s half day on their first day of school. Students were released from school at 10:30am, yet the app kept the time listed as a 3:00pm release. That seems like a simple (and crucial) “realtime update” to make. I also received zero notifications. Nothing when the bus left the school or got near us. (And again, nothing about the half day.) Finally, there’s the ability to track the progress of the bus — a remarkably useful tool — that, you guessed it, didn’t work. Instead of receiving the bus’s location when I selected “bus location” I was treated to a static map of my house and the school, which never once featured anything even resembling a bus let alone a moving location marker that could, I don’t know, tell me my kids’ “bus location.” This app is a total failure. In its present (useless) form I don’t see the point of it. It is simply a collection of erroneous, static times with no actual communication, no notifications, and no “bus location.” It’s an app that could of (should of) been an email — instead of wasting space on my phone.

We are sorry to hear this! Most of what you are saying needs to be updated by your district for it to work. For example, if an early dismissal is not entered into our system, we can't update the times, which means we have the wrong times to send notifications, and the wrong times to make the bus location available. It creates a domino effect of bad information that we cannot control. If you want to leave us feedback through the application, we'd be happy to work with you more to understand the specific issue that happened at your district and see how we can improve!

It doesn’t show any scans and no routes it just say his info and not any thing and yes it’s up to date and has been this way sense the day I added this crappy app. I can’t believe I had to download apps for my children to ride the bus with something on my husband‘s taxes pay for we pay taxes to several counties and only have one child in school in one county so you would think something you had to do extra. You already paid for the buses and things and the school stuff shouldn’t have to do anything extra for your children to ride the bus that you already paid for and with a stupid app a computer app something that has to have Internet service app, yeah I keep saying it app app doesn’t make sense to me either an app to ride the bus and an app that doesn’t work correct and nobody can tell me why so why did I have to take my top and download this and try and figure it out and it doesn’t work anyway and what happens when the bus is already in any kind of signals to use these apps is anyone thought of that and what about the apps that doesn’t work for people, mine has never worked. No one can explain why mine doesn’t work.
