Not fully functional yet

After having zero success at updating my credit card expiration date via the new online laptop/desktop portal yesterday, it was suggested I download the app. (Neither Carolina Water Service or First Billing could update my credit card expiration date when I called them.) I’m on auto-pay. The app won’t bring up my auto-pay credit card to update the info. When I try adding the card as new with the new expiration date, it wouldn’t verify it. Same happened via laptop and wouldn’t accept a totally brand new card either. The app also doesn’t have the option to remove a credit card. When I clicked on “contact us” on the app, the app crashed. I ended up using the app without signing in and made a one time payment.

Worthless - fees for every payment method

Might be a worthwhile app to manage and pay your water bill, but they charge a fee for every method of payment, e-check included. Maybe you could argue that the fee is justified if using a credit card, but certainly not to draw from a bank account.

No thanks. I’ll mail a check and you can pay for the labor to open and process my payment, as well as the cost to continue sending me bills. Someday these companies will lose their arrogance treating customers like an inconvenience. Like we should really be paying you for the privilege of streamlining your payment processing?!

Horrible

I’ve been paying my utility bills online for years with no problem. However, today I decided to use their new app! I was told my payment didn’t go through because of a connection loss to their server and to try again later. I did and got the same message that it didn’t go through and to try again later. Then I received two confirmation emails, and it turns out I paid them twice!
