Love this app
I love this all, it makes it so easy to quickly check out my bill and it’s due date, as well as the fact I can VERY EASILY pay my bill! It’s a great app for NIPSCO customers who are always on the run, and I love the paperless billing feature, because my bill comes to my email and everything is done online. I hate calling and waiting to talk to NIPSCO on the phone, so this is an awesome way to avoid this. You can also report outages and other dangerous issues to NIPSCO directly from the app!
Needs some tweaking
Overall the app works for what it’s intended purpose is. How you can make it better:
1. Allow me to set up a payment ahead of the due date. I would like to go in and set up the payment early. The app only allows me to pay on the current date. Not on a future actual due date. Before the app was developed I used another app to pay this bill and it allowed me to do that. You made it impossible for me to still use the old process and more inconvenient with the new one.
2. Be able to report outages through the app. This may be there, but I couldn’t find it.
3. Why do I have to pay extra service charges when I pay through the app?
NIPSCO sad attempt to help me as customer.
I had always used the same user name and password for years, same bank account, password. Last year my bank account numbers
We’re not accepted at NIPSCO, I kept getting sorry we can’t process your payment, I even called NIPSCO representative, I’m not sure what if any they said. I find out NIPSCO can’t accept my bank account number, with out using new two digit added to my checking account number.
To late! I have lost my privileges to make my payments with out occurring extra charge. I received this from NIPSCO stating ,you have been “ dishonorable, or dishonored” you can’t use your regular payment method, for one year.
And this also shows up on any back ground checks. So NIPSCO are you guys going to fix this problem, or will I still be on your Dishonered list.
