I read a ton of reviews talking about this being a scam. I assure you it is not. Nourish charges nothing until after your insurance processes the claim completely. I'll admit I was little taken aback when I saw the charges, but they were before my insurance kicked in. I pay $10 per session. That's it and it's totally worth it. Nourish also sent me an email saying they would not charge me for anything should for some reason mybinsurnace rejected the claim. With all that being said, Cindy is awesome. Like any intake, she wanted to get to know me and get a clear picture of my eating habits. Within three sessions, we were able to identify a HUGE trigger for my weight gain/inflammation. I'm down almost 17 pounds in one month, and my gut issues are starting to heal. I know my results are not typical, believe me, but having someone actually listen to me, and not try to pump me full of meds was a relief. I'm sad this wasn't available sooner. I would have never thought to speak to dietitian but it makes perfect sense.

I saw about a million ads on social media before finally giving it a try. First of all, yes it is indeed covered by insurance. I have UHC and have paid nothing. I chose this app over the others because I had read reviews on TrustPilot where dietitians on other apps weren’t being paid for their work. You can search for the perfect match dietician for your needs. My dietician is a Doctor that is familiar with Levantine cuisine (Syrian/Lebanese) that specializes in insulin resistance and PCOS. It was so easy to set up appointments and you determine the frequency. The most exciting part - I have been paying for recipe and meal planning apps, and I didn’t realize that in the Nourish app I can do all of that… using AI so I don’t have to do any work. each time you eat you just snap a picture of the food and it uses AI to calculate protein, carbs, fat, fiber, etc. this has really reduced the burden on me of understanding my intake.

I love this platform. It provides accessible care to skilled nutritionists that assist in tailoring goals specific to individual needs. My nutritionist Danielle Sanders is amazing. It’s so nice to have a black female nutritionist who recognizes the gap and lack of representation in southern, African and Caribbean cuisine when it comes to discussing a well balanced diet. She is culturally attuned, extremely knowledgeable, and practical. I love that her perspective is compassionate and nonrestrictive. She’s really helping me to be kinder to myself, set realistic goals and recognize that I can still enjoy the foods I grew up eating, as long as I portion my meals properly, and stay hydrated. She’s helping me have a much healthier, intentional and mindful relationship with food and improve my overall physical and emotional wellbeing. I highly recommend Nourish and I hope everyone can find a nutritionist as passionate and professional and Danielle.

This is not a scam. I am echoing the words of fellow users. My dietician has been great and has helped me tremendously. The app has a log where you can track your food intake either by logging the food or by also including a photo so you can remember what you had. I’d like to see the option to track water intake and to somehow incorporate activity levels such via a wearable device - Apple Watch or Fitbit. I think seeing our activity levels will also keep us accountable in the activity section and not just the food intake. Aside from that - I highly recommend this service. For most - the service is fully covered through your insurance. Your miles may vary so check with your insurance provider before you make the appointment. 👍🏼 Don’t believe the hype! Check them out for yourself.It would be nice to also track your weight to see your progress.
