I am so grateful for everyone’s help during my surgery’s and care. Words can not explain just how grateful I truly am . The whole surgical team are gifts from the all mighty, this holds true for all the nurses down to the cleaning staff. The care I was given was simply amazing! I came out of surgery with a whole new understanding! I was not a good patient before my accident. The the understanding I received was knowing my responsibility as a patient! Sound strange maybe however it’s my truth and I felt the results. I opened my heart and understanding of what these professionals go through to care for their patients that alone was enough to share what they felt. My message is more for patients please show your respect try and understand just how hard they work to get us better. They are your team and they care show them this and they will take it from there. You will get amazing results. Try and understand when the can’t respond it’s not because they don’t care because they do we are not there only patient. When I opened my heart and understanding I was blessed ten times over. The pain I was having seem to be more manageable. Dr. Su and his staff are gifts from God. Thank you so much Rick Phelps

Very happy patient…

I’d just like to say that Dr. Graham, is the most talented doctor I have ever met, it is a privilege to be under his care. His knowledge is incredible. I knew when I first met him that he was incredibly smart. And it is truly a privilege to be his patient. The keeps a close eye on everything about my health and body. I would also say , Providence is lucky to have him as a physician. His staff are also true professionals in their fields. All very personable and professional. I would like to see all of them, recognized by Providence, for all of them to receive an increase of pay 50 K each for all staff members, and 100 K plus for Dr. Graham. Would be nice to see and hear that the races were put into affect the first of next month. signed.

Colonoscopy frustration

I was planning to schedule this procedure at the Oregon Clinic this summer, but then I was informed that Medicare won’t cover it at the Clinic!! So now I have to go to the hospital! The Clinic SPECIALIZES in the procedure, which would seem to me to be more efficient & economical, as I’m assuming it all comes down to money., regardless of what the patient/customer wants. The surgical scheduler was supposed to call me, but I haven’t heard a thing yet. Still waiting! I was also told that the doctor I wanted at the Clinic should be able to do it at the hospital, which seems a bit problematic to me. Then you switched your lab from in house to Labcorp. I didn’t like the necessity of scheduling on line, so I just walked in & waited my turn. The complete results don’t seem to have come in yet; maybe those will be available at my appointment tomorrow? Just seems like you’re getting more & more removed from your patients & that everything is now computerized & automated. Guess I’m just getting crankier the older I get.
