Quest Lab Alert for Physicians from Quest Diagnostics® enables you to receive real-time notifications of your patients’ STAT and Priority results on your mobile device.

Quest Lab Alert for Physicians is a companion to the Quanum® Lab Services Manager application, both providing access to the same Priority and STAT results notifications. When a notification is received, you can click the notification to immediately view and acknowledge the results within the app. Results that are acknowledged via Quest Lab Alert for Physicians display the same acknowledgement message that appears when they are acknowledged within the Quanum Lab Services Manager application.

Quest Diagnostics will not call your practice regarding STAT or Priority results that have been acknowledged electronically via Quest Lab Alert for Physicians, as long as the acknowledgement is received in advance of the deadline.

We have extended the time limit to 90 days before notifications expire. If you do not log in for 83 days, you will receive a separate notification of the pending expiration.

Not easy to use

There are two apps from Quest Diagnostics. The one to check-in doesn’t allow you to create a new account. So, I used the other app to create an account. The check-in app says it uses existing login info, but it won’t, no matter how many times I try.

Date of birth

Starts at 2009, able to change date one month at a time, have to tap 840 times to get to my birthdate. Really stupid.
