No method of logging in

A gave 2 stars because the previous version was so bare bones. Seems like some thought was put into new layout. However, there is no way to USE the new version because you cannot log in/link account. Furthermore, if you contact them, no one knows who owns the new app, and you get the runaround. After four times I finally got a hold of someone who seemed to know about the issue. They took my email and said they’d get back to me in a couple business days. That was more than 2 weeks ago.

Wasted Money: App Does Not Work at all with Current iOS release on iPad

Rolling Stone Magazine app has not been updated in a year per App Store and does not work with current iOS release on iPad. When opening the app it shows a completely red screen with “Rolling Stone” printed in middle of screen and is otherwise completely frozen. Called Apple Tech Support after deleting and reloading app. They refunded my remaining app subscription and advised I purchase a new subscription to resolve the problem. Purchased a new subscription and same problem. If there is still a software development team working on this app out there somewhere can you please update it to work with current Apple iOS and iPad and notify subscribers when it is safe to purchase a subscription.

Magazine Buried, Unusable

The app took a giant step backwards. The focus is now “online content,” and the magazine itself it buried on the last tab with no way to navigate through its table of contents — the only option now is an awkward scroll through every page. Worse, there is no way to save where you left off in an article, even if you just leave the app for a minute. Without the ability to get cozy with deep reads of the magazine, the app is just basically a website of tabs and links, but less elegantly usable than an actual website.
