With the Sallie Mae app for Apple Watch, you can view and pay your Sallie Mae student loans’ Total Amount Due right from your watch. You can use the mobile app on your iPhone to change the payment date, amount, or bank account.

One of the most conveniently designed apps
The app developers and Sallie Mae’s web strategists have designed an app that is user friendly. With monthly statements available at your fingertips without having to navigate through different options. Easily accessible and self explanatory. Your FICO score is ready available for your view in the main option tab located at the bottom of the page at all times. It also includes any reasons why your score may be low. This is one of my favorite financial apps this far.
Confused what the app is even for
The business hours show I should have been able to connect with customer service this morning. I called multiple times just to be disconnected after the line ringing for over a minute each time. I tried calling the “late payment” # even though this is not my issue only to be met with an office closed message. The chat messaging option that “allows the user to respond in their own time” closed my case out within ten minutes of the agent contacting me without giving me any notification that my query was responded to. Shows no payment due even though... I definitely have a payment due. Guessing it only shows late payments due?
The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is the ease of navigation and overall user friendliness of the app.
App is well but the actual loans is a RIP OFF
First off let me say this is my first student loan and I went throughly with the application process where the whole thing is a LIE . Let me say that when it “says” your interest may be this or this when you choose and your payments will be this or this - NONE of it is I CALLED THEM FOR 4 HOURS on the phone being switched different agents and departments because they the number I had of the application process was NOT the same from when my loan started . And even when we send them screenshots and confirmed they still all GAVE US different numbers . I will never get a loan through sallie mae again. And who in hell wants to pay only interest the first 6 months ? I hope no one has to get stuck in this awful process like I did .
