- Popped in a small visual fix for the ‘updated’ and ‘partner’ tags on appointment and medication cards
- Added some extra padding on the list of message categories so that long lists can’t get partially hidden by the menu

I HATE that we can’t have a joint thread with our doctor

The journey with this app is incredibly frustrating. Using a computer when understanding intricate medical information and documents, and communicating with a doctor with a computer keyboard is actually way better and easier than using my tiny thumbs on this phone. Most importantly, my partner and I were able to be on threads together before with the team. Now we are not, he can see our information, but we cannot have joint threads with the doctor. This is a crucial design flaw that exacerbates existing gender imbalances in the fertility process. It’s incredibly frustrating to have to tell the doctor to send identical messages to my partner or for me to have to fill them in on OUR fertility process.

Thanks so much for taking the time to give us this feedback. We know the one-to-one-only messaging can be a little frustrating in certain circumstances and we are working on a safe way to allow 3+ participants within a chat – there are just some patient safeguarding aspects we need to make airtight first, but it is a priority for us.

Regarding your feedback about using a computer, there is a web version of Salve where you can access your documents – and potentially more features like forms and EngagedMD depending on at which clinic you're receiving treatment and their Salve feature set. Frequently cannot log in

Probably 50% of the time, when I go to log into the app, I simply cannot. Instead of logging me in, the login page refreshes. This seems most likely to happen when I've just noticed a message from my provider. Quitting and restarting the app doesn't help.

I'm using the app on an iphone 14 Pro running iOS 17.4.1. Typically, I login with face ID, but typing in my login doesn't fix the issue - I just get an error message.

Sorry to hear you're having issues logging in. The most common reason for this is usually if you have a VPN on your device or network, or if you're connected to wifi in your workplace which typically have additional security added to the network, like a firewall. Please try switching networks when this occurs. The clinics who use this don’t understand the pain they are causing

You’re probably using this app because you’re forced to by your doctor. I’m sorry for what you’ll have to go through.

In order to access medical care, you have to beta test this app. It will frustrate you at every turn. There are no subject lines for messages so you can’t track conversations. There’s no web version so it’s extremely difficult to do basic things like upload documents. Accessibility is non-existent.

You are an afterthought, an inconvenience, a box to be checked and not a person to be considered. Your medical care is a product for this company to sell, and they will profit at your expense. Their margins have to come from somewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Subject lines are something we’ll be introducing to Salve later this year, as well as other inbox organisation improvements, and we’re excited to release them as soon as we can.
To address your other points, there are some inaccuracies we would like to clarify: -There is a web version of Salve through which you can upload documents. This can be accessed by going to patientwebportal.salvehealth.com and logging in with your existing account details. -We do not sell patient data ever. This is clearly outlined in both our End User Licence Agreement and our Data Policy, which users read and agree to when creating an account. Salve is fully HIPAA compliant and we only access your health data – with your consent – to provide a service, including: surfacing appointment and medication schedules & reminders, document transfer between you and your clinic, EngagedMD integration for treatment consenting where applicable, lab results to keep you informed of your tests, telehealth appointments and messaging between you and your clinic, and facilitating medical history forms so that your clinic can make the most informed treatment decisions. Our revenue comes from the clinics who pay us to provide these services. Again, to reiterate, we have never sold data to third parties and never will. It is not part of our business model.
