Need an update that doesn’t exist?
After using for a few months and having relatively no issues, I went to unlock a card today to find that “this version is unsupported” and it sent me back to the App Store. However, the app hasn’t been updated in months. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, got the same issue. A sad end to a useful service.
Edit - I found a work around. You have to install the app on a different phone, re-register your cards, then log back in on your main. Luckily I had an old backup phone, but I would suggest fixing that.
Update on Sunday junked the whole thing!
Edit: after the update Sunday, I can’t use anything. Can’t log in, can’t change password, can’t even contact them about the issue. This is my bank card, so this is a major issue.
I thought this was going to help protect my bank cards, but now I wish I had never got it. It’s a super confusing app first of all. Turning things on and off, I’ve had my car declined several time and have to go in and figure out how to turn on/off what buttons to get it to work. Now some how I got logged out of the app completely and it will not take my password. I’ve tried resetting my password and it doesn’t send me an email with the token I need to change the password to get back in. When I try to contact them, it just goes to a blank white screen with nothing on it. I can’t find a number or anything to contact them, so I can get back into the app and finally get rid of the app completely once I’ve deleted my card. Don’t get the app. It’s an annoyance.

We hear your frustrations and sincerely apologize for the issues that came with the previous version of SecurLOCK Equip (1.0.10).
While the workaround for the ‘LOGIN_103’ and password reset errors was a simple reinstallation of the app, this should not have happened in the first place. We are determined to do better moving forward.
With that said, version 1.0.15 of SecurLOCK Equip was released on Monday, 04/22/19. This new version should completely resolve all login and password reset issues.
If you continue to run into any kind of problem, please get in touch with your financial institution so that we may look into your issue and resolve it as soon as possible.

Touch ID Fail
I do like this app but, as others have mentioned, this app looses the ability to use Touch ID after a few days. I use very complex passwords and Touch ID. This works for a day or two but then this app no longer prompts for Touch ID authorization and you cannot paste password into the authorization field. I would need to use an easier to remember password which kinda defeats the point of all the good security this app provides :( PLEASE FIX THIS! I’m finding that this annoyance is preventing me from using this great app... and I have been thinking about not using this app and deleting it which is a shame.
