I haven't had this app very long but since joining I have $100+ I wouldn't have otherwise. I love the convenience, Cumberland Farms is already cheaper than everyone else or at worst it's the same price as the lowest priced gasoline around the area, AND THAT'S BEFORE THE 10CENT DISCOUNT. My mom was almost out of gas and left her purse at home. Using the app I was able to turn the pump on for her once she told me the store # and pump # and that saved the day! Cumberland Farms you rock!If you are having trouble with them scanning the barcode on your phone there's a good chance it's your screen protector. I buy stuff using the app, in my case it stopped working (using the barcode in store) but my protector was getting old. That same day I went to my cell store and got the same protector and he put it on. No more problems. The guy at the (rhymes with horizon) store said that even if your screen protector looks clear as they get older they have micro fractures that you can't see, micro scratches from whatever is in your pocket, this will reflect light. So if it doesn't work try a replacement name brand screen protector, before applying new screen protector I would go to Cumberland Farms and try it without a screen protector.

My entire family has been using the Smart Pay Rewards app for gas purchases for nearly 5 years I believe. Also recommended it to numerous friends. All was fine until someone decided to improve the new and “improved app”. No one that I know has been able to get the app to work. Personally, I have made more than 10 calls to a myriad of tel #s and it has been a comedy of errors. End result is it still does not work. I was told 2 weeks ago to abandon the app and visit a store and get a smart pay rewards app card and use that instead of the app. Had to visit 6 stores before I was able to locate one. Called the # on the back of the card to activate the card and was told I didn’t have a account with them. Finally called one of the numerous #s I have collected over the past 2 months and after 10 mins was told the card was activated. Not a lot of faith in that statement. Can’t possibly imagine who built the new app but Cumberland farms is taking a huge hit in this one. Was one of the fastest growing gas station in my area and most people I know have abandoned them. What a horror show this is.******UPDATE******Since posting my review, I decided to contact the company for a final time and was finally able to get the app working without any problems. I have purchased gas 2x since and the app worked flawlessly. Was also pleased that someone actually responded to my post.

Completely useless since update

Use to be a great app until some idiot who gets paid way to much for his job decided to fix things that weren’t broken and update the app and changed everything about it. The app is way more complicated and confusing to use now, that is when you can get it to actually work. Since the update it has been nothing but problems. The app barely works. It’ll open but you can’t do anything with it when it comes to trying to get gas with it. It won’t start the pump or do anything you go through everything and instead of setting the pump it either says unkown error or does nothing. Paying in the store for things is no better. I’ve only gotten it to work once paying for things inside the store and even that time had to try 10 different times. The app after the update decided to ad some credit card that’s not mine and I’ve never seen before as my payment method and I can’t get rid of it and had to call to try and fix it, still have that card on there but had to connect my bank account to be able to pay they said, well it still doesn’t work besides the one time it did. I’ve called multiple times and still nothing but issues. They need to fire who ever made the decision to update the app along with everyone who worked on the update because all they did was break something that worked perfectly fine and make it a lot more complicated to navigate and completely useless.

I love cumberlan farm becuse i paid 99 cent any sizes for my coffe with the app once you sing in and is all month. When they offer the promotion plus they have a lot of free item with out buying anything plus some of them are buy one get one for free they always have good promotion none like my cumbis plus you get 20 cent % off in gas once you link a card if you don’t want to save personal card. Well get a prepaid card visa or Mastercard and add it to the app like i did load it and use the app directly in the pump once I add the card in the app it to purchase gas like that u don’t need to use the card u just scan or open the app next to u pump put u pump number and fill the pump that allthat simple i will recomend it to any one with my close ,you wont be disappoint it this. Is the first app the i give. A review in a week so trust me is much better than others store the offer u similar promo but they always up the price or want some thing but cumbis is much good and better plus u get birthday free chocolates or something like that you will like it
