The app is set up like a game, so it gets addicting. I started with the daily challenges list every day. Checking them off became a dopamine hit. This made me consistent with my workouts & I’ve crushed all my move goals since! You can earn points for workouts, and points for connecting with others which gives you a sense of community, encouragement, motivation and accountability during group challenges. You can “buy” more specialized workouts with the points you earned too. For certain challenges, you could even win equipment! I did so well on one challenge that they sent me a medal in the mail which changed how I think of myself: now I’m athletic- who knew? You don’t need any equipment to run the app or participate and it’s free! But for those who do have sunny equipment, can do some other challenges. I have their heart rate monitor & cadence counter for my non-Sunny bike. Now I can access super cool challenges that are so fun like a video game. There are so many different trainers & kinds of workouts, there really is something for everyone! I’ve been using on my phone for a while & just got it on Apple TV too! Love it!

I can’t believe this app is free for all the exercise value it offers. I can only speak as a beginner, but there is variety and it allows you to push yourself as little or as much as you want to. You can connect to their equipment (I have one small piece) to learn how to use it better and get free guided exercises, but there is plenty to use on it without any equipment or with other brands of equipment. They make it fun to earn points as you participate, which you can use to unlock additional, targeted workouts specific to where you want to focus in on or advance further. Always remember to give yourself grace when starting - you don’t need to be perfect, just move your body. 😁

After years of riding a road bike on a trainer, I decided to try something different. I acquired a Sunny Health indoor cycling bike, the cadence sensor and paired them with the SunnyFit app. I am really enjoying the setup. It is so much less clunky than my bike/trainer. This app is really fun to use and there are so many options for workouts. The trainers have great workouts where you can push yourself as much or as little as you want. I love picking a new ride in the World Tour section. The time goes by so fast while I am watching the scenery while screen-mirroring the workout to my tv on the wall. I hope that additional content keeps getting added. There is only one thing keeping me from rating this app five stars. It needs the ability to play your own music while riding the content in the World Tours. I don’t love riding in silence. It would even be awesome to have the option to hear the ambient sound that was present when each ride was recorded. Otherwise, this is a fantastic app that helps create a great workout experience!

I have a cycle bike and a rower both from Sunny. Neither have Bluetooth connectivity. I do really like the app for the variety of workouts. I enjoy having my workouts laid out with a program or collection so I can save time in the moment to decrease barriers. I wish I could select more than one modality when creating a program to vary my routine (rowing, biking, yoga, strength training, etc) especially when using the AI feature. I also wish there was an option to NOT have them scheduled on a particular day. My weeks are never the same so it would be nice to just have the flexibility to do the workouts when it fits. Unless I have that particular workout scheduled on the particular day, it doesn’t “count” that I completed the workout in the program. It is a huge pain to change the schedule in the moment when all I want to do is get the workout done. I wish there were ways to participate more in the challenges and other features on the app with sunny equipment that do not connect via Bluetooth.
