While I have a few suggestions on making this app slightly better, it’s easy to use and makes using my massage gun seem more meaningful than trying to guess best practices or looking for another source. I like with some of the routine that you can choose to watch it as a drawing to self guide or watch a video of someone demonstrating it. Although the button to see the video wasn’t where I would initially look to start the routine, so that’s one opportunity I had for the app. Another thing I found awesome was the different scenarios you could chose from to start that routine, like “tech neck” or “pre-walk”. This is as a cool way to encourage me to use it in more situations than I even planned. Lastly, my biggest issue I have with the app is there is no way to quickly see (other than clicking on each individual routine) how long it is. I need to know if I’m clicking on a 3 minute routine or an 8 minute one. So being able to see that easier (maybe on the main explore page) and/or actually being able to have a filter button to filter through the routines may be very helpful! Overall, great app! Even without my suggestions the app does a great job and I will continue to use it!

The UX is extremely well done and the stylistic choices made in creating the app aesthetically really make it a pleasure to navigate! The routines are seamlessly thoughtful and well put together and for me, they add a layer of confidence to pre and post activity massage-gun sessions (making them something to look forward to even if it’s the last thing your sore muscles are looking forward to.) I really like that it’s accessible to all massage-gun brand owners and that the app addresses focus to a wide range of active lifestyles, not just folks who lift weights or play a popular organized sport (the gaming, equestrian, and lifestyle routines really impressed me!) I also enjoy that this app takes a more proactive approach to using the Theragun, having routines simply for wellness practices and self care routines, not just to react to an ailment or to recover from a workout (which is how a lot of individuals use their massage-guns).
Really in love with everything about this app, I would give it 6 stars if I could. The only thing I think could be improved is the graphics for forearm “flexors” and “extensors”. I can’t really tell from either guide how they’re different from each other.
How great is this!
I think this app is fantastic. Not only is it incredibly user friendly, but also I’m sure just like myself, there’s people out there who do not use on which areas the theragun Is best used for and for how long. Especially when working out a lot muscle areas are more sensitive and need the perfect treatment to recover faster and better, so I love love love that you can choose the workout you just did for example surfing, and it tells you step by step which muscle group to massage and for how long to feel the best. I love that it doesn’t take ages but that most massage videos are like 10-20 min. So you can do this conveniently in between tasks or while watching TV. Not only is it for recovery but also for WARMUPS?! - I never thought of that! - and of course ailments. And they also have content for long hours in front of a computer and gaming so it’s not only focused on certain sports movements. I think that’s so important nowadays because we always sit in front the screen with bad posture. So I think this is amazing!
